NFL Same Game Parlay: Denver Broncos @ New Orleans Saints

Week 7 of the NFL season kicks off tonight. The New Orleans Saints will play host to Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos as the longtime Saints head coach returns to the Superdome for the first time as an opponent. This should be a fun battle, so we created an ultimate same-game parlay for the action.

Valued at +850, let’s ride!

Leg 1: Saints +7.5

I know the Saints are extremely banged up on the offensive side of the ball, but who are the Broncos to be laying 2.5 points on the road on a short week? The Broncos have scraped together a couple of wins but are also dealing with injuries, most notably to Pat Surtain II. Although the Saints got blown out last week by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Spencer Rattler was solid and moved the ball down the field, minus the two interceptions, of course. Plus, the Saints will have the best offensive weapon on the field in Alvin Kamara. I’m not going to sit here and say the Saints will win the game, but I don’t see them being blown out at home. I’ll tease them from +2.5 to +7.5 to get a touchdown cushion to kick off our parlay.

Legs 2 & 3: Alvin Kamara Anytime TD & 4+ Receptions

Frankly, all the Saints have tonight is Alvin Kamara, and he will be given what feels like endless touches. If he sees less than 20 touches, I’d be shocked. We’ll look for him to find the endzone as one of our legs since he’s combined for seven touchdowns on the season thus far, and we’ll also target him for four receptions as he’s averaged six receptions and just over eight targets per game over the last three weeks. If Kamara doesn’t have a big game, we can likely kiss our Saints +7.5 leg goodbye anyway.

Leg 4: Bub Means 25+ Receiving Yards

Given Chris Olave’s and Rashid Shaheed’s absences, Bub Means enters tonight as the Saints WR1. He did well last week stepping in, making five catches off of eight targets for 45 yards and a touchdown. To keep this simple, I’m entirely comfortable counting on him to get us 25 yards tonight after that performance.

Leg 5: Devaughn Vele 25+ Receiving Yards

Devaughn Vele is an unknown to most, but when on the field, he’s been a favorite target of Bo Nix. He bursted on the scene in Week 1 as a seventh-round rookie, making eight grabs before being sidelined due to injury the following week. He returned last week from his injury, and he still was a factor as he made four catches off of six targets for 78 yards. His production is no fluke to me, so we’ll look for him to get us 25 yards tonight through the air.

Leg 6: Javonte Williams 2+ Receptions

To close out our parlay, we’ll look to Javonte Williams to make two receptions, as he has done in the last five games. The Saints love to draw up creative blitz packages, so Williams will have a prime opportunity to rack up catches as Nix’s safety valve out of the backfield.
