After four years in Sin City, safety <a href="https://www.sportsgrid.com/nfl/players/trevon-moehrig/1803">Tre'von Moehrig</a> has joined the <a href="https://www.sportsgrid.com/nfl/depth-chart/carolina-panthers-depth-chart">Carolina Panthers</a>. Moehrig brings quality size (6-foot-2) and athleticism to Charlotte. He's coming off a campaign in which he recorded 104 combined tackles and five TFLs. Additionally, Moehrig was one of the best safeties against the run in 2024, posting an 87.5 PFF grade in that category.

Ward is headed for his 12th season as a professional, and throughout that span, he's lined up just about everywhere in the secondary. Still, his natural spot is at free safety. He missed time last year with a foot injury, but if Ward can bounce back in 2025, teams will have a difficult time throwing the ball against the Texans.
