Tampa Bay Rays -105 (Last week: -650)
With one of the strongest starts to a regular season in recent memory, the Tampa Bay Rays were at one time a major favorite to win the AL East. Over the last month, though, those odds have trailed off with their poor play. The Rays have won just two of their previous ten games, resulting in them falling out of the driver’s seat in the AL East. Over the last month, the Rays have dropped off from being a big favorite to win the AL East at -650 to only a slight one at -105. Can Tampa Bay regain their form, or are they showing their true colors in the second half?

Baltimore Orioles +135 (Last week: +1100)
The oddsmakers’ disrespect of the Baltimore Orioles was real to begin the regular season, but the O’s have forced that to change with the results they’ve continued to display. Baltimore has leapfrogged the Tampa Bay Rays for the AL East division lead and boasts an elite 62-40 record. The O’s lead the Rays by 1.5 games, despite losing two games in a row. Baltimore has seen their odds climb monumentally over the last month, rising from +1100 to owning the second-shortest odds at +135.
Toronto Blue Jays +600 (Last week: +2000)
The Toronto Blue Jays have high-end talent but have struggled with consistency. The Blue Jays occupy a wild-card position in the American League while also sitting 5.5 games behind the Orioles for the AL East division lead. It hasn’t been an overly positive run to end July, where Toronto has landed at 5-5 over their last ten games. Still, the Blue Jays have seen their odds continue to rise in their pursuit of the division crown, jumping from +2000 to +600 over the last month.
Boston Red Sox +3400 (Last week: +25000)
After a mediocre first three months of the regular season, the Boston Red Sox have caught fire in July and been a force. Four straight wins from the BoSox have them just 1.5 games behind the final wild-card spot in the American League. With their resurgence in July, Boston has also cut their deficit to just seven games in the AL East. Although they’re still considered longshots, they’ve seen their odds rise from +25000 to +3400 this month.
New York Yankees +3500 (Last week: +1300)
The New York Yankees had many problems to start the year. Aaron Judge suffered an injury against the Los Angeles Dodgers and hasn’t been seen since. Although it sounds like he could return Friday, nothing is set in stone. Judge’s importance to the Yankees lineup is highly evident, and his departure from their lineup has been a significant reason they’ve seen their odds drop over the last month from +1300 to +3500 to win the AL East.
