Atlanta Braves vs. Texas Rangers Spread, Line, Odds, Predictions, Picks and Betting Preview

Braves @ Rangers – First Pitch: 8:05 p.m.

Expected Forecast: Overcast Clouds, 79°

Get ready for an exciting MLB clash between the Atlanta Braves and the Texas Rangers. After a 12-run performance by the Braves and a 10-hit game by the Rangers yesterday, both teams are eager to continue their offensive momentum. The Braves will send rookie Jared Shuster to the mound while the Rangers rely on Dane Dunning. The Braves opened as favorites at a -116 price, but it’s now a pick ’em with both teams sitting at -110 on the moneyline. With a Coors Field-like total of 10, bettors should anticipate some high-scoring action.

Dunning has had a solid season so far, posting a 3.78 xFIP over the past month. With impressive splits, he has limited left-handed batters to a .185 weighted on-base percentage and a minuscule ISO power number of .033. Against right-handed batters, he’s just as strong, with a .224 weighted on-base percentage and an ISO of .024.

On the other hand, Shuster hasn’t pitched in the last 30 days, primarily because of his early-season struggles. The Rangers’ lineup looks strong, and they are eagerly awaiting Corey Seager’s return. Texas said Seager will come back in the next few days on Monday, so there’s a chance he’s available tonight.

Despite the Braves’ massive win last night, the game’s pricing seems a bit off, likely due to the lack of confidence in the Braves starting pitcher. The better pitcher today, Dunning, will be representing the Texas Rangers.
