MLB HR Leader Power Rankings Odds: Alonso Unseats Judge

Home runs are flying at an excellent rate in 2023, and numerous players could lead the league in long balls.

We’re looking at the top ten players with the best odds at FanDuel Sportsbook to lead the league in round-trippers.

1. Pete Alonso +250 (Last week: +360)

Pete Alonso put together an impressive first month of the MLB season and is now the odds-on favorite to lead the MLB in homers. Alonso has been bet down over the last week from +360 to +250 and sits in a tie for the second-most homers in the league with eleven.

2. Aaron Judge +600 (Last week: +320)

Aaron Judge is still the biggest power threat in MLB, even after being unseated at the top. The New York Yankees star is in a power slump, where he continues sitting on six home runs. As a result, he’s seen his odds drop from +320 to +600.

3. (Tie) Mike Trout +1200 (Last week: +1800)

Mike Trout has started to get hot and is tearing the cover off the baseball, where he now has tallied eight homers on the campaign. With his recent surge, Trout has been bet down to lead MLB in longballs from +1800 to +1200.

3. (Tie) Max Muncy +1200 (Last week: +1600)

Max Muncy is the current clubhouse leader in dingers with twelve. He hit a walk-off grand slam to help the Los Angeles Dodgers sweep the Philadelphia Phillies, leading to his odds rising again from +1600 to +1200.

5. (Tie) Kyle Schwarber +1600 (Last week: +1800)

Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber is having one of his immense power surges, where he’s now up to seven homers on the year. The moon shot home run hitter has jumped from +1800 to +1600 over the last week.

5. (Tie) Rafael Devers +1600 (Last week: +1600)

Rafael Devers is showing why he’s one of the league’s big boppers. He sits alone in fourth with ten home runs and is a big component of this Boston offense. However, Devers hasn’t seen any line movement and continues to boast +1600 odds.

5. (Tie)  Yordan Alvarez +1600 (Last week: +1200)

One of the most feared hitters in MLB is Houston Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez. He has yet to bust out from a power standpoint, considering he’s only hit six home runs but has driven in 27. With the lack of power in April, Alvarez has dropped from +1200 to +1600.

8. Matt Olson +1800 (Last week: +1600)

Matt Olson is proving to be a real power threat for the Atlanta Braves, where he’s mashed eight home runs over 31 games. He’s gone somewhat cold of late, though, leading to his odds falling from +1600 to +1800.

9. Shohei Ohtani +2500 (Last week: +3000)

Two-way star Shohei Ohtani is starting to bring his power stroke to the table, along with his elite pitching tools. Ohtani has registered eight longballs and seen his odds bet down from +3000 to +2500.

10. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. +2500 (Last week: +2500)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hasn’t been a dynamic power threat through one month of the year, but he’s still been a strong hitter for the Toronto Blue Jays. With that, his odds have faltered and dropped from +2500 to +3000.
