Signing as a free agent during the offseason, Rodon has yet to debut with the Yankees. He has been dealing with back and forearm injuries since spring training. Rodon has been known as an injury risk, but when healthy, he is one of the better-starting pitchers in the game. The Yankees said, Rodon will need at least three rehab appearances which means that the earliest he could start for the Yankees would be early July.
On Saturday, the Yankees will play the second game of a three-game series versus the Boston Red Sox. The Yanks will have Clarke Schmidt on the hill, with Brayan Bello toeing the rubber for the Red Sox. The Yanks are -182 (+1.5) on the run line and +110 on the moneyline, with an over/under of nine (+100) and under (-122).
