Je’Von Ward’s Patience and Speed Set Him Apart
Towering at 6'7", Je’Von Ward might not be a household name yet, but his stat line at High-A Vancouver is raising eyebrows. In 2025, he leads the Northwest League in walks (50) and owns a fantastic 6.4 FanGraphs Speed Score, making him a threat both on the basepaths and in the batter’s box.
Ward rarely chases—his 29.7% swing rate is one of the lowest in the league—and he’s actually seen more balls than strikes this season. While his extra-base totals are modest, he’s a disciplined hitter with 60-grade raw power and one of just 13 players in the league with multiple triples. Keep an eye on his name.
