MLB Betting Guide for August 13: How Forgotten are the Twins?

After a fun night of baseball last night, we have a loaded 15-game slate to look forward to tonight, so here is everything you need to know.

Kicking off the night atop the NL standings, the Philadelphia Phillies are back in action after their recent struggles as they are set to host the Miami Marlins. Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers will face off on national television, so we worked up an +850 ultimate same-game parlay for the action.

In the AL, both the AL East leaders should have easy nights, with the New York Yankees on the road against the Chicago White Sox and the Baltimore Orioles set to host the Washington Nationals. Down the standings, though, our focus tonight is on the Minnesota Twins, who keep on winning despite injuries. Sitting just 3.5 games back of the Cleveland Guardians for the AL Central lead, have we been writing off the Twins as a legitimate AL playoff contender?
