MLB Betting Guide for July 8: Cards Pushing Towards Playoffs

After an epic weekend of baseball around the league, we have a seven-game MLB slate set for this Monday, so let’s dive into everything the day could bring.

In the afternoon, the New York Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates will wrap up their four-game series as the Mets have taken two of three games thus far. Soon after, the Washington Nationals and St. Louis Cardinals will also close out their four-game series, and it’s been the Cardinals looking strong as they’ve won two of three games. St. Louis has quietly been stacking up wins after an early start to the season, as they currently sit five games over the .500 mark, paving the way for an intriguing playoff push to monitor.

Shifting gears to the night slate, the Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers will meet for an interesting AL Central battle on national television to headline the early window. Later on, to close out the night, the Arizona Diamondbacks will host the Atlanta Braves, so we worked up a +800 ultimate same-game parlay for the action.
