The Philadelphia Phillies ace was nearly untouchable, surrendering just two earned runs all month while fanning 42 hitters over 31 innings. Silver Medal Pitcher of the Month: Ranger Suárez, Philadelphia Phillies

Ranger Suárez quietly pieced together one of the NL’s steadiest stretches, turning in a quality start every time out. He went seven-plus innings in five of six June outings, and only once allowed multiple earned runs. No National League arm logged more innings, and his 1.31 WPA topped the board.

For a guy who missed the first month of the season, Suárez is making up ground fast — and his timing couldn’t be better in a contract year with free agency looming this winter.
