Leg 1: Pacers +5.5

The Pacers were handed a decisive defeat on Friday night, dropping a 126-104 decision at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. After falling into the Cavs’ defensive traps in Game 3, we’re betting on a more robust offensive performance in Game 4.

Before Friday’s defeat, Indiana was operating efficiently on offense. They had recorded no fewer than 119 points in any of their four preceding games, averaging 122.3 points per game over that stretch. More impressively, the Pacers had knocked down 52.6% of their shots. A return to efficiency seems inevitable after Friday’s dismal 43.8% shooting performance.

Conversely, the Cavaliers will be hard-pressed to replicate their offensive success in Game 4, when 37 free throw attempts propped up Cleveland’s 126 points. Otherwise, they shot just 42.0% from the field, including an insultingly low 29.7% from beyond the arc.

We’re not expecting the Cavaliers to run away with Game 4. Coupled with Cleveland’s inevitable regression, an improved offensive performance from the Pacers could make this game go either way. There may be an edge in backing Indiana outright, but we’re taking them against the spread.

Where to Watch OKC Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets

  • Arena: Ball Arena
  • Location: Denver, CO
  • Where to Watch: ESPN
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
  • Spread: OKC -6.5| Total: 228
  • Moneyline: OKC -270 | DEN +220

Leg 2: OKC-DEN Over 228

The Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde act continued for the Thunder on Friday night. A game after its 149-point outburst, Oklahoma City was held to 104 points in Game 3, while blowing a second-half lead. They can’t continue to make those same mistakes if they hope to pull even in this Western Conference showdown.

As has been the case all year, the Thunder continue to push the pace offensively. OKC has attempted 100 or more field goal attempts in two of their last three, including making it rain from distance. Across that three-game sample, they are averaging 38.0 three-pointers per game and are due for improved accuracy on those attempts.

Likewise, the Nuggets are poised for a strong offensive effort at home. After averaging 120.8 points per game throughout the regular season, Denver has dropped to 113.0 per game over its last five. Their shot volume and efficiency have fallen below the normal range, making the Nuggets natural progression candidates in the short term.

This is an ideal spot to take a firm stance on the over. These teams aren’t as bad offensively as they’ve shown. Expect the Thunder to push the tempo offensively and the Nuggets to keep pace. Offense will dominate Game 4, and this one should sail over the total.

2025 NBA Playoffs Sunday’s Parlay Picks

  • Pacers +5.5
  • OKC-DEN Over 228

As our analysis supports, we like the Pacers to cover the number at home and the Nuggets and Thunder to soar over the total. Parlaying those picks together could yield bettors a potential +260 return on their investment.
