Forget everything you think you know about the NBA Playoffs. This year’s postseason has been nothing short of sensational. The next chapter in this saga will be written by the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder, who take to the court for a decisive Game 7 on Sunday afternoon.

We’ve got you covered for betting purposes, highlighting our favorite Celtics vs. Knicks wagers in our same-game parlay!

Nuggets vs Thunder Game 7 Parlay

Where to Watch Denver Nuggets vs OKC Thunder

  • Arena: Paycom Center
  • Location: Oklahoma City, OK
  • Where to Watch: ABC
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
  • Spread: OKC -8 | Total: 214.5
  • Moneyline: OKC -310 | DEN +250
  • Nuggets vs. Thunder Matchup Page

Leg 1: Nuggets +8

The gap between these teams isn’t as pronounced as the betting line implies, and it hasn’t been all series. Despite being tied at three games apiece, the Thunder are just 1-5 ATS and have been on an unflattering spiral since the end of the first round.

While the Thunder have found ways to win games, they fail to live up to their projected standard on a nightly basis. OKC is just 3-8 against the spread in the playoffs. More concerningly, they have covered the number only once across their last eight games.

Conversely, the Nuggets have excelled at covering the number. Since Game 3 of the opening round, Denver is an eye-popping 8-1-1 against the spread. More impressively, that record comes despite being underdogs in all but one of those contests.

Shockingly, the Nuggets have never been favored in this series. Still, they continue to prove the betting market wrong by covering all but one of those games. While they might not be able to walk away victorious, the Nuggets should at least be able to cover the number versus Oklahoma City.

Leg 2: Nikola Jokic to Record a Triple-Double +215

Denver has five quality starters and a deep bench. Still, the ball usually goes through Nikola Jokic‘s hands on offense. The three-time MVP is unstoppable on offense, uncontainable on the boards, and we expect him to dish it around enough in Game 7 to reach a triple-double.

Over the latter stages of this series, Jokic has put the Nuggets on his back. The big man has 27 or more points in three straight, averaging 33.3 points per game across that sample. Further, he has been a beast on the glass, totaling 42 rebounds or 14.0 rebounds per game. While his assists have fallen short of double-digits, Jokic is trending positively heading into this afternoon’s deciding game.

Jokic has increased his assist total in three consecutive games. He’s gone from three in Game 4 to eight in Game 6, averaging 5.7 across the series. Moreover, Jokic reached double-digit assists in four of six in the first round, recording three triple-doubles along the way.

Few players have been able to contain Jokic, and the Thunder haven’t had the answer as the series progresses. We see immense value in backing him to record a triple-double in Game 7.

Leg 3: Jamal Murray Under 21.5 Points -110

Jamal Murray put up a gutsy performance in Game 6. The Canadian was battling an illness but still managed to drop 25 on the Thunder. While he is probable for Sunday, we don’t think Murray will be a driving offensive force for Denver.

The Nuggets guard has fluctuated throughout the series. While he has played more than 40 minutes in all but one of the six contests, Murray hasn’t been relied upon offensively night in, night out. He’s averaging 22.0 points per game and has fallen below that mark in three of the six contests.

Moreover, Murray has been anything but efficient. Across his last three games, he’s shooting just 39.3% from the field. Since the start of the series, he’s still only hovering at a below-average 41.0%.

Murray’s recent point totals don’t reflect his shooting struggles. Naturally, we’re anticipating a diminished output in Game 7. We’re including Murray under 21.5 points as the third leg of our parlay.

Nuggets vs Thunder Game 7 Parlay +1035

  • Nuggets +8
  • Nikola Jokic to Record a Triple-Double
  • Jamal Murray Under 21.5 Points

The Nuggets will be ready to play in Game 7. They’ve been incredibly proficient at covering the number, a trend that should persist on Sunday. Combined with Nikola Jokic recording a triple-double and Jamal Murray recording less than 21.5 points, bettors could see a potential return of +1035 on their money.
