The Oklahoma City Thunder are set for a pivotal matchup against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. Entering this series, not many have given the Pacers a chance to extend this series past six games. After three games, Indiana holds a 2-1 series lead with an opportunity to make it 3-1 on their home court. The Pacers will be going for blood, understanding what another win means for their chances to win the NBA Championship. However, the Thunder will be prepared to come out swinging, knowing they can’t risk allowing their series deficit to fall further.

Thunder vs Pacers Best Bet: Pacers +6
Indiana enters this matchup as the underdogs again on their home court. In Wednesday’s showdown against OKC, the two teams stayed knotted together most of the contest, with the largest lead only expanding to nine points. The Thunder desperately need this win, but Indiana understands what it means for them to head back to Oklahoma City tied 2-2, especially against the top team in the West. I imagine the Pacers will leave it all out on the floor, and while they may not be able to pull out another win, even though they’re fully capable of doing so, I predict this game will be decided by six points or less.
Thunder vs Pacers Best Total Bet: Under 226.5
Both teams were ranked among the best in offensive rating during the regular and postseason. Entering this series, expectations were that each matchup would turn into a high-scoring shootout. However, as the series unfolds, each head coach’s adjustments have seemingly hindered the two teams from reaching the over on the set totals. Assuming that trend continues on Friday, a final score of 114-109 seems realistic.

Thunder Best Player Bet: Chet Holmgren OVER 16.5 Points +122
Chet Holmgren started this series rough, posting six points in Game 1, but his play has improved drastically. The Gonzaga product shined in Game 3 and arguably outplayed Pacers’ big man Myles Turner in the front-court battle. OKC needs someone to step up and take the heavyweight off of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s back, and with Holmgren’s success the past few games, they could depend on getting their versatile seven-footer going on offense after his 20-point outing in Game 3.
Pacers Beat Player Bet: Tyrese Haliburton OVER 19.5 Points +124
Tyrese Haliburton vowed to be more aggressive on offense heading into Game 3 and did that, finishing with a near-triple-double with 22 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds. Indiana understands they’re a different team when their star guard is looking for his shot on offense, which means they likely continue to encourage him to do so. With another game in front of their home fans, a chance to go up 3-1, and fresh off a solid shooting night for Hali, I like the odds he can finish with 20+ points again on Friday.
