March Madness 2025: Top Player Props for Friday, March 21

Grant White

Host · Writer

It’s everyone’s favorite time of year — March Madness! The Round of 64 officially kicked off on Thursday morning, with a non-stop gluttony of action until Sunday night. There is no shortage of bets, so we’re highlighting our favorite player props for Friday, March 21.

Note: All odds and lines are courtesy of bet365 and are subject to change after the publication of this article.

(15) Robert Morris Colonials vs (2) Alabama Crimson Tide

Kam Woods to Record 20+ Points +300

There’s nothing the Alabama Crimson Tide likes more than offense, often coming at the expense of their defensive play. That’s reflected in today’s betting line. Alabama enters its first-round matchup versus the Robert Morris Colonials with the highest total on the board, currently set at 166. The Crimson Tide will have no problem scoring, but we expect the Colonials to keep pace.

Kam Woods is the Colonials’ offensive catalyst, and he doesn’t take his foot off the pedal. The senior guard has played north of 40 minutes in four of his past six, with the point production to match. Woods averages 19.5 points per game across the six-game sample while attempting no fewer than 12 field goals in any of those contests. Moreover, he’s seen a substantive jump in his shooting percentage, increasing to 46.7% over that stretch.

Alabama has faltered down the stretch. They’ve given up 91 or more points in three of their past four, with those opponents nailing almost 50.0% of their shots. Woods will have free range against the Crimson Tide, and we expect him to make the most of his opportunities. At +300, he’s worth backing to reach the 20-point threshold.

(12) Colorado State Rams vs (5) Memphis Tigers

Nique Clifford Over 9.5 Rebounds +115

The 12 vs. 5 upsets are among the most reliable NCAA Tournament trends. So much so that the 12th-seeded Colorado State Rams are favored over the fifth-seeded Memphis Tigers. Colorado State’s chances are bolstered by their three-headed monster of Nique Clifford, Jalen Lake, and Kyan Evans. While all three will have their moments, we expect Clifford to shine brightest against the Tigers.

Clifford has elevated his play to another stratosphere in the latter stages of the campaign. The senior has totaled 24 or more points in four straight, overshadowing his recent contributions on the boards. Clifford has a double-double in two of his last three, averaging 10.3 rebounds across that sample. The 6’6" guard is poised for another strong showing in Seattle.

Memphis is a solid rebounding team, but the Tigers were victimized in their most recent outing. The UAB Blazers out-rebounded the Tigers in the AAC Championship and grabbed 19 offensive rebounds. Further, two of the Tigers’ last four opponents have had players hit double-digits in rebounds.

Clifford is a menace and a solid bet to surpass his point total in the Round of 64. Still, we can’t overlook the value in backing him to eclipse his rebound total. At plus money, we’re taking a stance on Clifford going over 9.5 rebounds.

(13) Akron Zips vs (4) Arizona Wildcats

KJ Lewis Over 0.5 Threes Made +115

The Arizona Wildcats hope to shed their reputation as a perennial underperformer in the NCAA Tournament. Their ascent begins with an opening-round showdown versus the Akron Zips, and they can get an offensive spark from an unsuspecting source.

Playing in the shadow of Caleb Love, KJ Lewis has been a solid secondary scoring option for the Wildcats. The 6’4" guard averages 10.9 points per game this season while being deployed as a spark plug off the bench. Lewis isn’t known for his three-point shooting ability, which has cratered his three-point prop to 0.5. Still, sharp bettors will recognize the value in taking the over.

Reserve players often take on a more prominent role early in the tournament. Rather than gassing their stars in a blowout, teams prefer to get them as much rest as possible. As a result, Love could see a diminished role on Friday night, paving the way for Lewis to make a more significant impact.

We’ve seen Lewis deliver game-changing performances even with Love on the court. The senior has played north of 25 minutes in five of his last six, hitting double-digit points in all but one of those contests. Moreover, Lewis has three-point attempts in all of those outings.

Despite coming off the bench, Lewis has the second-highest point total prop in tonight’s East Region showdown. We expect him to make at least one three-pointer.
