What are the Longhorns?

Jalon Walker and Mykel Williams Dominated
Jalon Walker and Mykel Williams stole the show on Saturday night in Austin, Texas. The Bulldogs' defensive duo was impactful from start to finish, playing a critical role in Georgia disrupting the Longhorns' offensive flow. Walker and Williams saw their stock take a significant bump in Week 8, highlighting how good this defense can be when motivated.
Trevor Etienne Shows Importance to Offense
Entering the game against Texas, it was pretty clear from the start that running the football and dominating the possession clock was important for the Bulldogs. Running back Trevor Etienne, along with the offensive line, showed up in a big way in Week 8. Etienne rushed for 87 yards and had a hat-trick of touchdowns in the victory. If Etienne continues to be the focal point in this offense, big things will come for the Bulldogs.
Carson Beck Struggles but Does Enough
It was a weird night for the Georgia Bulldogs offense against a tough Texas defense. Carson Beck has had his struggles this year, and those carried over against the Longhorns. Beck threw three interceptions in the win but also completed some big throws during critical portions of the game to limit any potential momentum from the home side.
Better Tackling, Less Explosive Plays
It's been a strange year for the Georgia Bulldogs regarding the little details. The Bulldogs were allowing explosive plays and missing tackles, which isn't something we've grown accustomed to from this program. That changed Saturday night, and the Bulldogs turned in their best defensive performance of the year.
Perfect Preparation and Gameplan
To say the Bulldogs' start to the year had been uninspiring leading up to this clash would be an understatement. Credit to the Georgia coaching staff; they had a strong game plan and stuck to it against the No. 1-ranked team in the country. The Bulldogs didn't need motivation, but the rest of the country gave them plenty leading into this SEC tilt.

Quinn Ewers Struggles
It's pretty easy to be concerned about how Quinn Ewers performed on Saturday night. Ewers was rattled early and often in this contest, and it showed with some very poor reads and turnovers. Ewers and the rest of the Longhorns offense couldn't get any momentum against a strong Bulldogs pass rush. How will Ewers and Co. respond moving forward? Will Arch Manning factor into the equation?
Longhorns Offensive Line Fails Big Test
This was a significant test for one of the nation's top offensive lines on Saturday night at home against the Bulldogs. The Longhorns' offensive line dug itself a hole early on and couldn't escape it. Overall, there are few teams with the talent that Georgia has on defense to worry about. Still, it could be a worrisome trend if these teams face off again.
Texas's Defensive Line Does Enough
All in all, the Texas Longhorns did many good things defensively against the Bulldogs. They forced three turnovers from Carson Beck, which isn't something we were expecting from a top quarterback prospect. The Longhorns defense did its part, but the offense couldn't hold up its end of the bargain.
Sarkisian Outcoached
There's a lot to like about what Steve Sarkisian brings to the table as the head coach of the Texas Longhorns. Kirby Smart got the better of him, and he couldn't find solutions as one of the brighter minds in sport.
