Best Penn State vs Oregon Player Props for the Big Ten Championship Game

Drew Allar: OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns
If the Oregon Ducks load up against the run, that should present opportunities for Drew Allar to throw the ball in the red zone and surpass the 1.5 passing touchdowns number set as his total. Pairing Allar’s passing touchdowns with Warren scoring a touchdown makes sense, and Allar would only need to find one additional passing touchdown to reach his number (or throw two to Warren!).

Noah Whittington - OVER 21.5 Rushing Yards
The Penn State Nittany Lions have a strong rushing defense, but Oregon has a duo of running backs prepared to churn out yardage. Junior running back Noah Whittington is No. 2 on the depth chart but has 455 yards on the season and has eclipsed 21 yards in five of the past six games, including performances of 42, 56, 36, 77, and 67 yards (against Washington last week). I expect the Ducks to utilize the ground game quite well and avoid taxing Jordan James with a considerable share of the carries. Whittington going over 21.5 on the ground is a great bet.
Jordan James - OVER .5 Rushing/Receiving Touchdown
Jordan James has been the bell-cow running back for the Oregon Ducks all season. James has a knack for finding the endzone when they get into the red zone, amassing at least one touchdown in all but two games this season. The junior had two scores against Washington last week and one score in each of the three previous games. Penn State has only given up five rushing touchdowns all season but they have not faced a rushing attack like Oregon’s.
Tyler Warren OVER .5 Rushing/Receiving Touchdowns
Tyler Warren is the best tight end in the country, and the Penn State offense leans heavily on his playmaking. I think James Franklin and Andy Kotelnicki learned a valuable lesson in the loss to Ohio State. They got to the red zone and failed to put the ball in Warren’s hands. That probably cost the Nittany Lions the win over Ohio State, and I do not think they will make the same mistake in another big game. He has a considerable number set for receiving yards (69.5), but his anytime touchdown prop makes more sense to me. The Nittany Lions could use him as a Wildcat near the goal line or throw the ball to him as their best red zone target.
Nicholas Singleton: UNDER 65.5 Rushing Yards
Nicholas Singleton is Penn State’s best running back, but there is a pretty even split between him and RB2 Kaytron Allen. Allen has 159 carries to Singleton’s 121 this season. Meanwhile, Oregon’s running defense is not elite but is a pretty strong unit, limiting opponents to just 3.6 yards per carry. The game plan will probably be to load up against the run and force Penn State into passing situations where Oregon’s pass rush can get after Drew Allar. It's a significant number for a player who will split carries at 65.5 rushing yards, so taking the under is a clever play.
