After a first half that saw the 49er defense get torched, Nick Bosa and the defense clamped down in the second half. He is still a game wrecker and put pressure on Lions quarterback Jared Goff all second half. Bosa finished with two sacks and four quarterback hits.

Brock Purdy's ability as a quarterback has been questioned during the season as he was being compared to superstars such as Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson. Purdy keeps on winning. He helped orchestrate a 17-point comeback on Sunday and showed poise by going 20 of 31 for 267 yards and a touchdown.
