Leg 8: Damian Lillard 20+ Points
Damian Lillard has had at least 20 points in nine of his last 12 games. In a high-scoring game tonight, I believe that Dame will find a way to navigate himself to 20 points. Call it another hunch, but I expect to get the Bucks’ best effort in what could be an NBA Finals preview as long as Doc Rivers doesn’t choke in the playoffs.
Legs 1 & 2: Nikola Jokic 25+ Points, 10+ Rebounds
Nikola Jokic has had at least 25 points and ten rebounds in nine straight games. What else is there to ask for? Knowing how bad the Bucks are defensively, the Joker should be fine, making it ten consecutive games with 25 and ten tonight.
Legs 3 & 4: Jamal Murray 20+ Points, 6+ Assists
This month, Jamal Murray has had at least 20 points in nine of 13 games and six assists in 11 of 13 games. The Bucks are atrocious at defending opposing guards, so I don’t envision we’ll have too much trouble cashing these legs.
Leg 5: Aaron Gordon 10+ Points
Aaron Gordon has scored at least ten points in 33 of 41 games this season. If we break it down further, Gordon played for less than 24 minutes in four of those games. Knowing tonight will be a close, high-scoring game, we should see upwards of 35 minutes from Gordon, putting us in a great position to get ten points.
Leg 6: Giannis Antetokounmpo 10+ Rebounds
Giannis Antetokounmpo has had at least ten rebounds in 15 of his last 16 games. What else do we need to see?
Leg 7: Brook Lopez 10+ Points
Brook Lopez has had ten points in 11 of his last 14 games, but what’s driving this play for me is that after Joel Embiid was ruled out on Saturday. I sat back and watched Paul Reed make Jokic look pathetic defensively as he dropped a career-high 30 points. Paul Reed! Recency bias or not, Lopez better get himself ten points tonight after what Reed did.
