Leg 7: Andrew Wiggins 10+ Points
Andrew Wiggins has been far too inconsistent to have overwhelming confidence in him tonight, but he had 23 points against the 76ers last week. Watching that game, he seemed to have a great read on what the 76ers were doing defensively, as he was highly efficient with his shot selection. I hope he can get us at least ten points tonight.
Leg 1: Tobias Harris 20+ Points
Without Joel Embiid, the 76ers need a ton out of Tobias Harris to stay in the hunt for one of the top six seeds in the Eastern Conference. Over the past three games, he had a 26-point outing in Golden State, followed by 28 and 17-point showings. We’ll target him to give us at least 20 tonight, as against the Warriors last week, he put up 18 shots and seemed to assert himself at both ends of the floor. I don’t imagine he plays timid knowing what he just did against this team, so I trust he’ll find a way to 20.
Leg 2: Kelly Oubre Jr. 15+ Points
Over the past six games without Embiid, Kelly Oubre Jr. has averaged 19.3 points per game and has exceeded 15 points in each outing. Knowing tonight should be a high-scoring game, I’ll tout him to get us 15 and forget about it.
Leg 3: Tyrese Maxey 3+ Threes
Tyrese Maxey has been too inconsistent for my liking with Embiid on the sideline. Still, on national television, I expect he’ll want to show the NBA community that he can lead the 76ers while Embiid is out. Maxey didn’t play against Golden State last week, so we don’t have that game to refer to, but he’s averaged over eight three-point attempts per game this season. With the ball in his hands even more tonight, that could be in the double digits. If we get ten attempts from deep, I’ll happily take Maxey to drill three of those as one of my legs.
Legs 4 & 5: Jonathan Kuminga 15+ Points, 4+ Rebounds
Jonathan Kuminga has had at least 15 points in ten straight games while collecting four rebounds in eight, including a 26-point and seven-rebound outing against the 76ers. He’ll give us at least 15 and four by midway through the third quarter.
Leg 6: Stephen Curry 4+ Rebounds
Stephen Curry has had at least four rebounds in seven of his last nine games, with one of those outings being a seven-rebound performance against the 76ers. I’m comfortable enough making this a leg.
