MLB Mexico City Round 1
Planned for April 2020, the initial Mexico City series between the Diamondbacks and Padres was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It took three years for the city to host its inaugural MLB regular-season games. The event saw the Padres clinch victory in both matches against the Giants. The high altitude of Mexico City turned Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú into a dream venue for hitters, with a total of 15 home runs recorded across the two games.
It's not surprising to see the total for Game 1 on Saturday set at 16.5 at FanDuel.

2024 Mexico City Series Matchup
The Astros and Rockies are slated to compete in the 2024 Mexico City Series. Despite Houston's closer proximity, the Rockies have been designated as the home team for the duration. Both cities share the Central Time Zone, but Mexico City's non-observance of daylight savings aligns its current time with Denver, not Houston. The Rockies might find the city's elevation more familiar territory compared to the Astros, given Denver's high altitude.
