MLB Betting Guide for August 12: Are Padres Baseball’s Best Bet?

After an action-packed weekend of baseball around MLB, we’re back for tonight’s 11-game slate, so here is everything you need to know.

Kicking off tonight, we have a fun matchup between American League playoff hopefuls in Fenway featuring the Boston Red Sox and Texas Rangers. Still, both clubs will need to turn it on big time as they’re chasing the Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins, who will also be squaring off in an AL Central battle. We’re pumped to see these two clubs match up, so we worked up a +1300 ultimate same-game parlay for the action.

Elsewhere, we have a strong game in the Midwest as the Milwaukee Brewers host the Los Angeles Dodgers, separated by just 1.5 games in the NL standings. We’ll continue to shine a light on the two surging NL West teams pursuing the Dodgers in the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres. The D-Backs just took three of four from the Philadelphia Phillies this weekend, and while the Padres win streak ended, they just won 16 of their last 19 games. It doesn’t get much better than that, and you can still get them at +1000 to win the NL.
