MLB Betting Guide for September 4: A Royal Collapse

All 30 MLB teams are in action today, so let’s dive into all the action set for the night ahead to line that bankroll.

Kicking off the slate, we have a single afternoon game north of the border as the Toronto Blue Jays will host the Philadelphia Phillies after last night’s epic battle where the Phils pulled off an epic comeback powered by Kyle Schwarber’s three home runs.

The Phillies are still 1.5 games back of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who continue with their battle of LA as they’ll face the Los Angeles Angels tonight. Behind them, the Milwaukee Brewers are set to host the St. Louis Cardinals, where we have you covered with tonight’s ultimate same-game parlay. Down the standings, the Atlanta Braves are still trying to hold on to the NL’s final wild card spot as the New York Mets are trying to close in as they enter tonight on a six-game winning streak.

In the American League, the Baltimore Orioles have re-taken the top spot in the standings, and they will have a great chance to continue to stack wins as they attempt to finish the sweep of the Chicago White Sox in Camden Yards tonight. In the AL Central, we have to look at the Kansas City Royals, who are in the middle of a catastrophic stretch as they are on a seven-game losing skid, falling to third in the AL Central after leading last week. Their series against the division-leading Cleveland Guardians finishes tonight, making it almost a must-win to boost morale. Luckily, they still have a 4.5-game hold on the AL’s final wild card spot, but never say never!
