10) C Clint Capela, Atlanta Hawks -> Houston Rockets
Entering free agency, it was doubtful for Clint Capela to return to ATL, but a fit with the Houston Rockets wasn't exactly looked at as a realistic landing spot, considering Houston's depth in the frontcourt already. However, the Rockets inked the big man to a contract after completing a sign-and-trade with the Atlanta Hawks. Capela arguably put together his best years of his career in Houston before landing with the Hawks, and now has a chance to return to the place where his NBA career started.
Deal: Three-Year, $21.5 Million
1) C Brook Lopez, Milwaukee Bucks -> LA Clippers
Brook Lopez seemed destined to leave Milwaukee heading into the offseason following another disappointing outcome for the Bucks. At 37, the big man is still a very reliable defender, and what he offers as a rebounder and floor spacer makes him a very coveted piece. Deal: Four-Year, $53 Million
4) G Jordan Clarkson, Utah Jazz -> New York Knicks
Jordan Clarkson was a surprise addition to the free agency class after agreeing to a contract buyout with the Utah Jazz. The 33-year-old guard is still playing at a high level, averaging 16.2 points and 3.7 assists this past season as a spark plug scorer off the bench for Will Hardy. Now, he takes those talents to the New York Knicks, where he'll have the chance to contend in the Eastern Conference and provide much-needed bench depth for the veteran minimum when he clears waivers.

7) G D’Angelo Russell, Brooklyn Nets -> Dallas Mavericks
D'Angelo Russell's career hasn't exactly panned out like many thought it would when he entered the league as the No. 2 overall pick. The Ohio State product has put together solid seasons, but he's yet to find a landing spot where he can stick around and be a long-term option. However, he still offers a diverse skill set that many contending teams were interested in, which landed him a spot with the Dallas Mavericks. He'll play a pivotal role in the backcourt until Kyrie Irving returns from injury.
Deal: Two-Year, $13 Million
8) G Ty Jerome, Cleveland Cavaliers -> Memphis Grizzlies
Ty Jerome put together a breakout season this past year for the Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 12.5 points, 3.4 assists, and 2.5 rebounds as one of the top bench players in the league. Many had Jerome winning the Sixth Man of the Year race, but after falling short, free agency was the next opportunity for him to prove his worth. Quickly, Jerome seemed like a long shot to return to Cleveland with the contract he expected, and he now lands with the Memphis Grizzlies.
