90) Javonte Vereen, UConn
Javonte Vereen initially committed to NC State as a highly recruited high school prospect. Still, after a lackluster freshman season in 2023, the tight end opted to enter the transfer portal this offseason. Finding a spot at UConn, Vereen will have the opportunity to rejuvenate his career and prove why teams coveted him as a prospect entering college.
1) Eli Stowers, Vanderbilt
Eli Stowers has the size and downfield burst to make for a high-end weapon in the passing game. Stowers is set to return to Vanderbilt in 2025 and presents a unique option for this offense to build around. Stowers can burn you with his vertical speed, but also has the route-running ability to put defenders in a blender and make them look silly. Stowers wins plenty of 50/50 contested catch battles, which is a key to him continuing to elevate his game in 2025.
2) Jack Endries, Texas
Jack Endries enters next season as one of the premier receiving tight ends in the nation. In each of his first two seasons at Cal, the six-foot-four pass catcher has been a reliable safety valve for the tight end and continues to prove his value at the position. With his versatility as a capable run blocker and what he offers as a receiving threat, Endries lands at No. 2 heading into 2025 as a Texas Longhorn.
3) Max Klare, Ohio State
Max Klare was one of the lone bright spots for Purdue last season, totaling 685 receiving yards and four touchdowns for the Boilermakers. The six-foot-four tight end entered the portal earlier this offseason and immediately became one of the most coveted prospects. After Ohio State landed a commitment from Klare, the stock in the pass catcher went up. Likely to be a massive piece in the Buckeyes' offense next season, Klare is in store for a big season.
4) Justin Joly, NC State
Justin Joly began his career at UConn, and after a breakout season in 2023, he transferred to NC State. Heading into next season with the quarterback situation for the Wolfpack resolved, Joly could continue to trend up the list.
5) Tanner Koziol, Wisconsin
Tanner Koziol heads into 2025 with a chance to put his name on the map. The six-foot-seven tight end dominated this past year at Ball State, totaling 839 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. After transferring to Wisconsin this offseason, he'll have the chance to prove he can make the same impact in the Big Ten.
6) Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon
Kenyon Sadiq has the tool kit needed in order to be the next high-end tight end at Oregon. Sadiq's size and quickness make him pop on film, along with his strong football IQ, particularly in the blocking game. If you throw a pass in his radius, Sadiq is going to come down with the ball the majority of the time. In addition, Sadiq is a very difficult player to tackle, boasting a strong lower core that allows him to consistently break away from defenders.
7) Miles Kiteselman, Tennessee
Miles Kitselman is one of the older prospects on this list. The versatile tight end began his career at Alabama, but after struggling to find a role, he transferred to Tennessee. In his first season with the Vols, he racked up four touchdowns, proving to be a reliable red zone threat. In an offense that could be improved next year with more consistent QB play, Kitselman could be in store for a breakout year.
8) Trey Leckner, Washington State
If you aren't familiar with the name Trey Leckner, you should be sooner than later. Leckner is the full package at Washington State, and we're expecting his numbers to take a big leap forward in 2025. Leckner's competitive drive and physicality are key traits that him a glorified weapon in this offense.

The Georgia Bulldogs have had some great tight ends over the years, and many like the continued growth and development that Oscar Delp portrayed in 2024. Delp has high-end athleticism, great hands, and can really exploit you in the right matchup. Delp's ability to block, catch passes, and run routes at a high clip have helped put him in the conversation as one of the top players at his position in 2025. Delp does the little things so well and has the ability to really make an impact in this offense moving forward.
10) Luke Hasz, Ole Miss
You can understand why the Ole Miss Rebels found Luke Hasz intriguing in the transfer portal this offseason. Hasz was a former 4-star recruit when he joined Arkansas prior to the Rebels, highlighting his strong hands and ability to win one-on-one battles with opposing defensive backs. Hasz is a challenge to cover, consistently gaining separation and having the strength to win his battles when blocking. His combination of size and athleticism make him a promising prospect in the sport.
11) Brett Norfleet, Missouri
Brett Norfleet is a tight end for the Missouri Tigers, standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 235 pounds. In the 2024 season, he recorded 26 receptions for 235 yards and two touchdowns. 14) Jack Velling, Michigan State
Jack Velling is a 6-foot-5, 244-pound tight end from Seattle, Washington, currently playing for Michigan State University. He began his collegiate career at Oregon State, where he made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2022. Velling has a knack for exploiting opposing defenses and finding gaps in coverage. He's a strong receiving target that should continue to fit nicely at Michigan State in 2025.
15) Jaleel Skinner, Louisville
Jaleel Skinner is a tight end prospect known for his exceptional athleticism and potential as a dynamic receiving threat. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 225 pounds, Skinner possesses a rare combination of size and speed that makes him a compelling candidate for NFL teams seeking a versatile offensive weapon in the future. Carter has a chance to be a focal point in the Red Raiders' offense heading into next season.
18) Michael Smith, South Carolina
Michael Smith committed to South Carolina as a highly recruited prospect out of high school. In his freshman season with the Gamecocks, the six-foot-six tight end came on strong down the back half of the year, becoming an underrated target in the team's offense. Heading into 2025, Smith will likely have an expanded role with the chance to put his name on the map.
19) Shamar Easter, North Carolina
Shamar Easter committed to Arkansas as a top recruit out of high school. The six-foot-five tight end didn't see much opportunity during his freshman season with the Razorbacks, which led him to the transfer portal and ultimately UNC bound. Now, he'll have the chance to earn a larger role and prove that he's more than just potential and can immediately make an impact.
20) Sav'ell Smalls, Colorado
Sav'ell Smalls may be one of the most intriguing prospects on this list. The tight end began his career at Washington, where he spent his time as a linebacker. Smalls switched to TE last season and heads into 2025 with a chance to prove the position change was the best thing for his career.
21) Randy Pittman Jr., Florida State
Randy Pittman Jr. impressed last season at UCF, reeling in 416 yards and two touchdowns for the Knights. Michael Trigg began his career at USC before transferring to Ole Miss. After two seasons with the Rebels, the tight end sought another fresh start, eventually landing at Baylor. In his first season with the Bears, he immediately made an impact, putting together a career-year, racking up 30 receptions for 395 yards and three touchdowns. Heading into 2025, Trigg can add to his strong 2024 campaign.
24) Jaden Platt, Texas A&M
Jaden Platt committed to Texas A&M as a highly recruited prospect out of high school. The six-foot-five tight end redshirted during his freshman season, but he showed Aggie fans a flash of his potential before that. Heading into next season, Platt could become a key contributor in Mike Elko's offense, and if he does, look out.
25) Jelani Thurman, Ohio State
Jelani Thurman committed to Ohio State as a top recruit out of high school. In his first two seasons with the Buckeyes, he's struggled to find a sizable role in the offense. Despite that, his skillset and versatility put him in a position to make the most of his opportunities when his number is called. Thurman could break out if he finally finds an expanded role this season.
26) Luke Reynolds, Penn State
Luke Reynolds committed to Penn State as the top tight end recruit in his respective recruiting class. In his first season with the Nittany Lions, the versatile pass catcher saw limited opportunities, mainly because he was slotted behind arguably the best tight end in the nation last season, Tyler Warren. Heading into 2025, Reynolds can capitalize on an increased role, especially on a squad that values the tight end position.
27) Ethan Davis, Tennessee
Ethan Davis committed to Tennessee as a top recruit out of high school, and through his first two seasons with the Volunteers, he's shown flashes of why he was heavily recruited. At six-foot-five, Davis can be a dynamic receiving threat on offense, while also having the size to be a game-changer as a blocker. Heading into 2025, it won't be a shock to see the Georgia native take another leap.
28) Walker Lyons, USC
Walker Lyons was a top recruit coming out of high school, but he's yet to find the opportunity to prove why at USC. However, the talent is there, and it feels like only a matter of time before the California native puts it all together, especially under an offensive guru in Lincoln Riley. Assuming Lyons finds an increased role in 2025, the tight end could put his name on the map.
29) Sam Roush, Stanford
Sam Roush has quietly impressed at Stanford in each of the last two seasons. Although the six-foot-five tight end's stats may not jump out at you, he's the type of player every squad in the nation would love to have. Roush takes pride in serving as a blocker and doing the dirty work, but he can also stretch out a defense with his pass-catching ability.
30) Trey'Dez Green, LSU
Trey'Dez Green is not only versatile on the football field, but his playmaking abilities also extend to the basketball court for the Tigers. 31) Christian Bentancur, Clemson
Christian Bentancur committed to Clemson as a top recruit out of high school. The versatile tight end has yet to earn a sizable role with the Tigers, but heading into 2025, odds are he sees an increased role in Dabo Swinney's offense. Expect Bentancur to have a solid season next year.
32) Carter Nelson, Nebraska
Carter Nelson landed at Nebraska as a top recruit out of high school. In his first season with the Cornhuskers, the tight end saw limited opportunities but showed enough promise to be hopeful that he would break out in Year 2. Nelson's size and agility as a route runner make him a quarterback-friendly target, but his ability to block in the run game will undoubtedly keep him on the field.
33) Donovan Green, LSU
Donovan Green originally committed to Texas A&M out of high school. After one season with the Aggies, the tight end opted to enter the transfer portal seeking a fresh start and a sizable role elsewhere. Green found that at LSU, where he'll likely be a top target in the Tigers' high-powered offense, which is a recipe for success in terms of Green putting together a career year.
34) Brady Hunt, South Carolina
Brady Hunt began his college career at Ball State before transferring to South Carolina. The six-foot-five tight end saw limited opportunities in Year 1 with the Gamecocks, which led to rumors that he could be set to enter the transfer portal this offseason. However, Hunt decided to stand pat at USC, which could mean a more prominent role for him is in store with new offensive coordinator Mike Shula calling the plays.
35) Amir Jackson, Florida
Amir Jackson committed to Florida as a top recruit out of high school. The tight end has yet to make his mark with the Gators' offense, but he could finally be in line for an increased role in 2025, especially with DJ Lagway under center. Having a versatile tight end on the field, who's quarterback-friendly, will likely be a point of emphasis for Billy Napier, which could turn his attention to Jackson, who has the traits to be that top target.
36) Linkon Cure, Kansas State
Linkon Cure committed to Kansas State as the top tight end recruit in the country during the 2025 class. Cure has every tool needed to be an immediate impact player for the Wildcats in year one, especially with his versatility on offense. Cure could immediately prove to be the QB's top target early and continue to see more usage as the season continues.
37) Luke Harpring, Georgia Tech
Luke Harpring committed to Georgia Tech as a top recruit out of high school. In Year 1 with the Yellow Jackets, he saw limited opportunities, but still showed flashes when he got on the field. Heading into 2025, Harpring could see an increased role and a chance to prove he's a top tight end in the nation.
38) Elija Lofton, Miami
Elija Lofton is another former top recruit to find his name on the list. The versatile tight end played a limited role in Year 1 with the Hurricanes, but the fact that he was able to find the field at all in Miami's high-powered offense is impressive on its own. Assuming he can find a larger role in 2025, Lofton has everything a QB looks for in a safety blanket, and it wouldn't be a shock to see him become that guy for Carson Beck.
39) Landen Thomas, Florida State
Landen Thomas was one of the few bright spots for Florida State during their disastrous season last year. The tight end showed out nearly every time he got the opportunity to make a play and gave the Seminoles hope that he could play a prominent role in their offense moving forward. With a new QB under center in 2025, Thomas could be relied on heavily with his versatility.
40) Brady Prieskorn, Michigan
Brady Prieskorn committed to Michigan as a highly recruited prospect out of high school. Buried in the Wolverines' depth chart, the tight end struggled to find a role in the offense. However, with Colston Loveland gone, Prieskorn could be in line to compete for a larger role, and if he earns it, it'll be a sign of big things to come.
41) Holden Staes, Indiana
Holden Staes committed to Notre Dame out of high school as a top recruit. After multiple lackluster seasons with the Fighting Irish, the tight end transferred to Tennessee, where he spent this past season. Staes saw an increased role, but it wasn't a significant enough opportunity to show how versatile he can be on offense. As a result, the pass catcher transferred to Indiana, where he hopes to finally get a chance to showcase the talent he has to offer.
42) Ka'Morreun Pimpton, TCU
Ka'Morreun Pimpton joined LSU as a highly recruited prospect out of high school. In his first season with the Tigers, the tight end carved out a limited role, where he could show flashes when the opportunity presented itself. Now, Pimpton can earn an increased role in an underrated Horned Frogs offense after joining TCU.
43) Andrew Rappleyea, Penn State
Andrew Rappleyea is another former top recruit stuck in the logjam of talented tight ends at Penn State. However, with Tyler Warren gone, the window now opens for the playmaker to potentially carve out a sizable role in James Franklin's offense heading into 2025. He'll have stiff competition to earn that increased role, but with his versatile skillset, it wouldn't be a shock to see him come out on top.
44) Cooper Flanagan, Notre Dame
Cooper Flanagan has an opportunity ahead of him to take a leap offensively in Notre Dame's offense heading into next season with what many expect to be a more pass-friendly scheme than seasons prior. Marcus Freeman has done a great job stacking talent for when he got the right quarterback under center, and with the hype surrounding CJ Carr's arm, Flanagan could be a safety valve for the first-year starter, assuming he wins the job.
45) Ty Lockwood, Boston College
Ty Lockwood began his career at Alabama, struggling to find a sizable role. After entering the transfer portal this offseason, Boston College head coach Bill O'Brien quickly recruited the tight end. O'Brien crossed paths with the pass catcher during his time with the Crimson Tide. With O'Brien's interest in bringing Lockwood to the ACC, he could be in store for an increased role with a chance to prove why he was highly recruited out of high school.
46) Kiotti Armstrong, Texas A&M
Kiotti Armstrong enters his freshman season at Texas A&M with high expectations. As one of the top tight end prospects in this incoming recruiting class, the pass-catcher has the potential to make an impact from the jump in the Aggies offense. A young player to keep an eye on heading into 2025.
47) Elyiss Williams, Georgia
Another top recruit to find himself on this list is Elyiss Williams. The highly ranked tight end will have a steep hill to climb this coming season in a talented tight end room at Georgia, but his diverse skillset could get him a look early especially if he's able to show flashes during the offseason.
48) DaSaahn Brame, Tennessee
DaSaahn Brame is in the same position as the other freshman tight ends ahead of him on this list. Brame has the potential to make an impact in year one, but he'll have to put in the work to carve out a role with the Volunteers as a freshman. Nonetheless, he has the talent to do exactly that.
49) Nick Townsend, Texas
Heading into 2025, Texas will be viewed as aone of, if not the most explosive offense in the nation. Arch Manning will be a pivotal piece for the Longhorns next season and in his first year as a full-time starter, he could rely on his relationship with his tight ends early. If Nick Townsend can find chemistry with Manning through the offseason and early practices, he could force himself on the field.
50) Thomas Meyer, Iowa
Thomas Meyer enters next season with a real chance to earn a role in Iowa's offense after landing with the Hawkeyes as a top recruit. Iowa has a long history of finding tight end prospects that can contribute right away and based off of what Meyer has shown throughout his high school career, there's real belief he can be the next pass-catcher to do that in 2025.
51) Olsen Patt-Henry, Clemson
Seemingly every offseason over the last few years, the Clemson Tigers have snagged one of the top tight end prospects available. In 2023, they did exactly that with Olsen Patt-Henry, who finds himself buried in a depth chart full of talent in the tight end room. Nonetheless, Patt-Henry could be in line for an increased role in 2025.
52) Khamari Anderson, Arizona State
Khamari Anderson committed to Kentucky as a top recruit out of high school and has yet to receive a major opportunity to make his impact on the field. However, without adequate quarterback play, there hasn't been much of a need for Mark Stoops to rely on tight ends in the passing game. However, after transferring to Arizona State, Anderson will now have one of the best quarterbacks in the nation in Sam Leavitt, throwing him the rock, which could result in a big year for the pass catcher.
53) Jackson Bowers, Oregon State
Jackson Bowers committed to BYU as a top tight end prospect but hasn't seen the field much for the Cougars since doing so. Despite that, the Arizona native has the talent to make an immediate impact when given the chance, which is why he transferred to Oregon State to bet on himself in the Beavers underrated offense.
54) Matthew Klopfenstein, Baylor
Matthew Klopfenstein has all the tools to be a premier tight end in college football, but has yet to put it all together at Baylor. Partly due to a minimal role in the offense, things could turn around for the playmaker in 2025 if he can prove to be a reliable target for the Bears on offense.
55) Mac Markway, Nebraska
Mac Markway committed to LSU as a top recruit out of high school but never found his footing with the Tigers. Markway has the talent to be a reliable pass catcher, but he'll have to prove it to Matt Rhule to get increased playing time on the field.
56) Jaden Reddell, Georgia
Jaden Reddell committed to Georgia as a top recruit out of high school. Like nearly every other Bulldogs' tight end, the talented pass catcher finds himself in a loaded room full of talented competition, hoping to carve out a role. 58) Brycen Coleman, Vanderbilt
Brycen Coleman has all the tools to be a premier pass catcher for Vanderbilt, but his position decision between tight end and wide receiver remains up in the air. If he were to find a sizable role with the Commodores this upcoming season, it wouldn't be a shock to see him put his name on the map.
59) Jonathan Echols, South Florida
Jonathan Echols committed to South Florida as a top recruit out of high school. The tight end selected the Bulls over multiple top programs, largely due to the possibility of him playing right away. However, after only receiving one reception during his freshman season at USF, Echols heads into next season hoping to get a larger opportunity.
60) Kylan Fox, UCF
Kylan Fox is another talented tight end residing in Florida, awaiting his chance to prove how impactful he can be. Considering the turnover in the Knights' offense, the pass catcher could receive that chance next season.

There, Niblack hopes to finally find the expanded role he's been searching for.

Joining the Georgia Southern Eagles ahead of 2025, Helms could be in line for a breakout season.
65) Colin Weber, Rutgers

The six-foot-four tight end opted to enter the transfer portal to use his last year of eligibility to find an increased role to prove he can impact the game as both a safety valve for the quarterback and a willing run blocker. Between his size and skillset, he has a chance to prove he deserved a larger role all along.
66) Grayson Barnes, West Virginia
Grayson Barnes spent the last two seasons at Northern Illinois, where he's shown nothing but promise as a reliable pass catcher in the Huskies' offense. Christian Moore began his college career at Kansas State, where he saw minimal opportunities. The pass catcher transferred to UNLV hoping to find a larger role, but quickly found out the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Now, he lands at Purdue, where he'll likely carve out a larger role with the struggling Boilermakers.

Jacob Peterson landed at Toledo this offseason, hoping to find an opportunity to finally showcase his skillset on the field. The talent is there, and if he gets the chance, he could be an underrated addition for the Rockets.
85) Tre Williams III, North Texas

86) Var'Keyes Gumms, UNLV
Var'Keyes Gumms began his college career at North Texas, where he showed plenty of promise, reeling in 34 receptions for 458 yards and five touchdowns. The Texas native opted to try his hand in the SEC after transferring to Arkansas, but in two seasons with the Razorbacks, the tight end struggled to carve out a sizable role. Now, he hopes to get the chance to prove he can be the safety valve for the offense at UNLV in 2025.
