NFL Week 17 Predictions: Expert Analysis for Every Game

Detroit Lions (-3.5) vs San Francisco 49ers
Even though the 49ers are eliminated from playoff contention, I still think the Lions will want some revenge in this matchup after how the NFC Championship Game ended last year.

Prediction: Detroit 30, San Francisco 20

Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) vs Pittsburgh Steelers
I haven't been impressed with the Chiefs offensive line. I think Pittsburgh has the weapons on defense to make it a long Christmas Day for the Chiefs offense.

Prediction: Pittsburgh 23, Kansas City 20
Baltimore Ravens (-4.5) vs Houston Texans
I'm not sure the Texans will be able to run the football in this matchup. The Ravens present mismatches for Houston all over the football field.

Prediction: Baltimore 27, Houston 18
Seattle Seahawks (-3.5) vs Chicago Bears
The Seahawks are fighting for their postseason lives, while the Bears simply don't give me much of any confidence to keep this one particularly close.

Prediction: Seattle 25, Chicago 16
Los Angeles Chargers (-5.5) vs New England Patriots
As well as the Patriots played last week against the Bills, I don't envision they'll be able to replicate that performance against a motivated Chargers team.

Prediction: Los Angeles Chargers 24, New England 15
Denver Broncos vs Cincinnati Bengals (-3)
The Cincinnati Bengals aren't a team I'd want to see down the stretch with their playoff lives hanging by a thread. I trust Joe Burrow and company more here, even with a suspect defense.

Prediction: Cincinnati 30, Denver 27
Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Rams (-5.5)
The Los Angeles Rams are a team that's peaking at the right time of the season. That doesn't bode well for a Cardinals team that got eliminated from postseason contention in Week 16.

Prediction: Los Angeles Rams 26, Arizona 18
Indianapolis Colts (-7.5) vs New York Giants
The Indianapolis Colts found major success with their run game in Week 16. I don't think the Giants have the personnel to stop them in Week 17.

Prediction: Indianapolis 23, New York Giants 13
Las Vegas Raiders vs New Orleans Saints (-2.5)
Neither of these teams inspires much of any confidence this late in the season. I'll go with the momentum the Raiders created last week, even if it hurts their draft pick.

Prediction: Las Vegas 20, New Orleans 17
New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills (-9.5)
After a lackluster showing in Week 16 against the Patriots, I don't envision we'll see that in back-to-back weeks for the Buffalo Bills.

Prediction: Buffalo 27, New York Jets 17

Tennessee Titans vs Jacksonville Jaguars (-1.5)
The Jaguars simply have more pieces on offense that give me slightly more confidence in them putting together a good enough performance here to bank a victory.

Prediction: Jacksonville 21, Tennessee 18
Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-7.5)
The Buccaneers are going to be desperate here after a poor showing in Dallas. With that in mind, I still think this is too many points against a Carolina team playing spoiler down the stretch.

Prediction: Tampa Bay 25, Carolina 22
Miami Dolphins (-6.5) vs Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns have nothing to play for down the stretch. The Dolphins are still alive, and their offense provides the necessary punch to lead them toward a victory and cover.

Prediction: Miami 25, Cleveland 14
Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles (-9.5)
There are some unknowns about what version of the Eagles we're going to get on offense with their injuries. I like the Cowboys to keep this to single-digits in this divisional clash.

Prediction: Philadelphia 24, Dallas 18
Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings (-1.5)
After a tight Minnesota victory earlier this season against Green Bay, the Packers get some revenge with a late field goal to split the season series.

Prediction: Green Bay 28, Minnesota 25
Atlanta Falcons vs Washington Commanders (-4.5)
Even after an impressive victory over the Eagles last week, I'm still not sold on the Commanders. I think the Falcons run the football well in this matchup and pull off the upset.

Prediction: Atlanta 27, Washington 24
