Packers vs Lions TNF Week 14 Picks | NFL Same Game Parlay

Ben DiGiacomo

Host · Writer

The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions will meet on Thursday Night Football in a huge NFC North battle, so we’ve created an ultimate same-game parlay for the action.

Valued at +1000, let’s ride!

Leg 1: David Montgomery Anytime TD

David Montgomery has found the endzone eleven times this season and in nine of 12 games overall. He’s coming off a 21-carry game on Thanksgiving Day in which he didn’t find the endzone, but the Lions’ offense was doing a lot of untraditional things. I expect them to get back to their usual ways of having their running backs get the red-zone touches, putting him in a great position to find the endzone.

Leg 2: Jahmyr Gibbs 50+ Rushing Yards

While we’re touting David Montgomery to find the endzone, that doesn’t mean Jahmyr Gibbs won’t have a big game on the ground. They’re a tandem for a reason, and we’ll look for Gibbs to run for at least 50 yards as he’s done in eleven straight games leading into tonight.

Leg 3: Jameson Williams 3+ Receptions

Jameson Williams has recorded at least three receptions in four straight weeks, including two straight five-reception games heading into tonight. The Lions have been sure to use him in ways that aren’t just a speed threat, so we’ll look for that volume to continue for at least three catches tonight.

Leg 4: Jordan Love 250+ Passing Yards

If the Packers keep this game as close as we expect, it must come from a strong showing from Jordan Love through the air. He’s thrown for at least 250 passing yards in three straight games against the Lions, and he’ll benefit tonight from the indoor dome in Detroit just as Jared Goff always does.

Leg 5: Dontayvion Wicks 3+ Receptions

We need a big game from Jordan Love through the air, so we might as well double up with his pass-catchers, as the Lions allow the most receptions in the league to opposing wide receivers this season. We’ll start with Dontayvion Wicks, who has stepped into a starting role for the injured Romeo Doubs and managed to haul in four catches last week. Tonight, four catches should be his floor in a potential shootout.

Leg 6: Christian Watson 3+ Receptions

Christian Watson has had a year full of ups and downs, but he saw a season-high seven targets against the Lions in the previous matchup this season. We’re already looking to fade the Lions’ secondary, as they have allowed the most receptions in the league to opposing wide receivers, so we’ll count on a solid showing from Watson to wrap up our parlay.
