Dallas Cowboys vs. Miami Dolphins (-1.5)
In one of the games of the week, the Dallas Cowboys are headed to Miami to take on the Dolphins. The Dolphins are listed as a slight 1.5-point home favorite. Neither team has particularly played well in big games this season, but we have seen more from Dallas in those spots. The Cowboys at least have a signature victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. After a rough showing against the Buffalo Bills in Week 15, the Cowboys bounce back and keep their NFC East division hopes alive.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-1.5)
Although we've really yet to see the Jacksonville Jaguars play to their potential, this is a big spot for them in Week 16 when they visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs are also fighting to keep their lead atop the NFC South. The Jaguars have the ability to hinder the Bucs' offense just enough to come out on top. Jags win outright.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Atlanta Falcons (-1.5)
The Indianapolis Colts have been playing some inspiring football in December. Expectations weren't high for this group entering the year, but they've been a pleasant surprise. Shane Steichen deserves to be getting more buzz to win NFL Coach of the Year. With Indianapolis stopping the run at a much higher clip of late, we like for Steichen to coach circles around Arthur Smith. The Colts extend their win streak on the road.
Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers (-5.5)
The San Francisco 49ers are the clear-cut best team in the NFL. Period. Still, the Baltimore Ravens are right in the running with the 49ers and likely aren't getting the respect they deserve. The Ravens do a lot of things with the football that should make life difficult on the 49ers defense. Although we expect the 49ers to win, the Ravens keep this a field-goal game.
New England Patriots vs. Denver Broncos (-6.5)
The New England Patriots aren't going to wow you with how they play on either side of the football. Still, they've been doing enough good things to keep games close, which is all they need to do on Sunday in Denver. The Broncos are in the playoff hunt, and we've been impressed with their turnaround after a horrific start to the year. The Patriots likely won't win this game, but they keep it close enough to cover the number.
