Bryant Becomes Modern Day Wilt vs. Raptors on Jan. 22/06
In his final season wearing No. 8, Kobe Bryant did the unthinkable and added a 1 next to his jersey number on the scoresheet.
In true Black Mamba fashion, Kobe's performance was not only an individual accolade but part of a comeback WIN against the Toronto Raptors. We all know how vital a W was to the Lakers legend.
Bryant hit 28-of-46 shots from the field and went 18-of-20 from the stripe. Remember, it took Wilt Chamberlain 63 shots from the field to hit his 100-point game. Granted, Wilt didn't have the option of going 7-of-13 from beyond the arc with no three-point line at the time.
