Anytime Touchdown Bets You Need to Place for Christmas Eve

Courtland Sutton (+145)

Like Mike Evans, Courtland Sutton is another one of our wagons all year that we have to ride again on Sunday. He’s scored a touchdown in 10 of 14 games this season, and the Patriots’ defense stinks. At +145, let’s continue to ride the wave.

David Njoku (+240)

This is my favorite bet of the day on Sunday, as David Njoku has been a straight-up machine as of late. Not only has he combined for three touchdowns across the past two weeks, but he’s averaged over ten targets per game over his last six games. He’ll be facing a Houston Texans defense that’s allowed the second-most receptions and fourth-most yards to opposing tight ends in the league, so at +240, I’m all over this.

David Montgomery (+115)

The fact that we’re getting David Montgomery at +115 to find the endzone is laughable to me. Yes, he hasn’t seen the endzone in two straight weeks, but he still out carried Jahmyr Gibbs 27-22. Before these past two weeks, Montgomery found the endzone in nine of ten games, with the one miss being the game where he got hurt and left early. He’s still this team’s lead back, so at +115, come on now.

Mike Evans (+100)

I’ll keep this leg simple, as Mike Evans has been one of our wagons this season, scoring a touchdown in 10 of 14 games. He remains the Bucs’ top touchdown threat all over the field, and the opposing Jacksonville Jaguars have given up the fifth most touchdowns to wide receivers this season. Even though he’s only +100 to find the endzone, we’re lucky this isn’t somewhere around -130, where it should be priced.

Trey McBride (+195)

Since the quarterback returned, Trey McBride has been a target machine for Kyler Murray, averaging nine targets per game. He only has a single touchdown over that stretch, but I’m more targeting the Bears’ defense in this matchup as they are one of the worst units in football defending tight ends, and David Njoku just had ten catches and a touchdown against them. At +195, this is worth some action.

Raheem Mostert (-115)

-115? Really? Despite Raheem Mostert being -115 to find the endzone, going against my policy of not betting on players evenly priced or better to score, I have to do it. This should be priced at like -250. Mostert has combined for 20 touchdowns on the season, TWENTY! He’s dominated De’Von Achane in carries these past two weeks, 36-16, plus who knows what kind of Tyreek Hill we’re getting if he even plays. With this projected game total over 50, I don’t understand why I wouldn’t bet on someone with 20 touchdowns. Two units lay the hammer.
