Anytime Touchdown Bets You Need to Place for NFL Week 8

Courtland Sutton (+220)
I’ll keep our final touchdown prop short and sweet. Courtland Sutton has had a touchdown in five of seven games this season, including one already against the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s been one of the NFL’s premier red-zone threats this season, being one of nine NFL players to have at least seven red-zone receptions, so at +220? I’m hammering that value all day.
AJ Brown (+110)
AJ Brown is quietly putting up arguably the best season by any wide receiver in football outside of Tyreek Hill. Totaling north of 800 yards, Brown only has three touchdowns, but two of those came in Week 4 against the Washington Commanders, who he faces again on Sunday. In that one, he hauled in nine receptions for 175 yards to go with those two scores, basically having Emmanuel Forbes and that Commanders secondary wanting to quit football. With the same guys back there, we’ll bank on AJ Brown to continue his dominance against Washington.
Saquon Barkley (+110)
The New York Jets and New York Giants game has a total of a whopping 36.5, but we’re going to tout Saquon Barkley's anytime TD prop at only +110 just because. It remains unclear who will be under center for the Giants, but it doesn’t matter as Barkley is this offense. He’ll comfortably eclipse 20 touches, in all likelihood, putting him in a good enough position to find the endzone like he has three times across four games of his shortened season.
Cooper Kupp (+140)
Seeing Cooper Kupp only have two catches and 29 yards was a rarity this past Sunday, something we do not see continuing. Across the first two games, he combined for 15 receptions and 266 yards, showing us that after an off game, he’ll get right back into the swing of things and allow us to capture better value. Looking at the past three NFL seasons, anytime you would be able to get Kupp to find the endzone at +140, you wouldn’t even think twice about it, so that’s exactly what we’re doing here.
Jaylen Waddle (+150)
Amid the unreal seasons Tyreek Hill and Raheem Mostert are having in the Miami Dolphins offense, people are forgetting about how unbelievable Jaylen Waddle is. Before Sunday, the previous two games saw Waddle combine for 19 targets and ultimately find the endzone in each game. Against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football, Waddle only played half the game due to injury and still had six catches. Waddle’s stock is trending up big time, so we’ll capture this +150 for Waddle to find the endzone in a game where the Dolphins are motivated to crush someone.
TJ Hockenson (+180)
TJ Hockenson only has two touchdowns this season, but with Justin Jefferson still out, Alexander Mattison not producing touchdowns, and Jordan Addison’s rough matchup against the Green Bay Packers who have defended wide receivers very well this season, this is Hock’s show. If he’s going to have in the ballpark of 11 receptions like he had on Monday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers unreal linebacker unit, I’ll back this number against a lesser Packers defense at +180.
Chris Olave (+200)
Chris Olave has a lot going on off the field leading up to Sunday’s game, but across these past two weeks, he’s combined for 25 targets. Olave typically isn’t known as a touchdown guy, but I can’t get out of my head that guys like Puka Nacua and Nico Collins torched this secondary earlier in this season. If they can, I’m certain Chris Olave will, so given his recent volume I’ll take the +200 value all day.
