Buy or Sell: Buffalo Bills to Win Super Bowl

The Buffalo Bills are once again a potent threat in the NFL to win the Super Bowl. Will this be the year they finally get over the hump and win their first? This is one of the most talented rosters in football, and they’ve continued to make strides in the offseason to improve once again their chances of finding success. The Bills have won at least ten games in each of the last four seasons, yet they’ve constantly underachieved in the postseason, with their best finish coming in 2020, where they lost in the AFC Championship Game.

One of the biggest challenges the Bills will have is that the AFC is loaded at the top with elite quarterbacks. The Bills are led by Josh Allen, who in his own right is a franchise quarterback, but he’s yet to find playoff success like some of these other star quarterbacks.
The best examples are Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes has already won and played in multiple Super Bowls, while Burrow has at least made it to the big game. The clock has slowly started to tick for Allen in his quest to lead Buffalo back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1993.
Buffalo has done an excellent job of improving their defense again in the offseason. They’ve often lacked pass-rushing difference-makers, but their front seven matches up well now with many of the league’s best teams. There have certainly been questions if this Bills defense can get the final stop against a team like the Bengals or KC.
There’s too much talent on both sides of the football in Buffalo for them not to eventually break through, but the biggest question is whether this is the year they finally do it.
Buy or Sell: Buffalo Bills to Win the Super Bowl at +800
The NFL has many talented teams, and this league continues to be littered with parity. Whether you want to look at the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs (+650), the Philadelphia Eagles (+700), the Cincinnati Bengals (+900), or the San Francisco 49ers (+900), no shortage of elite teams can come out on top in February. Buffalo has underachieved in the postseason for too long with a great core of players.
The issue for Buffalo right now is that you can make just as good of a case for the Chiefs, Cincinnati, or even a team like the New York Jets. The AFC has no shortage of challengers, and there’s better value elsewhere on the board, meaning we’re comfortable selling the Bills to win the Super Bowl at +800.
