Tyreek Hill Returns and Finds the Endzone
Tyreek Hill sat out in Week 15 against the New York Jets, but all signs point to him returning to the field in Week 16 vs. the Dallas Cowboys. With three games left, Hill sits at 1,542 yards. It's no secret that Hill is on a quest for 2,000 yards, and he'll need 458 over Miami's final three games to get there. If anyone can do it, it's Tyreek Hill. If Hill can find a way to get behind the Cowboys' secondary and score, the Dolphins will be one step closer to the AFC East crown.
Tua Tagovailoa Continues Making Plays
There's been a lot of chatter about Miami's high-end receivers making Tua Tagovailoa what he is today, but we don't buy into that narrative. Of course, it helps when you have the likes of Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill, but Tagovailoa is one of the most accurate passers in the NFL, and he's a big reason why this team is in the running for the top seed in the AFC. If Tagovailoa plays mistake-free football, the Dolphins will like where they're at come Sunday night.
Bradley Chubb and Company Apply the Pressure
If the Dolphins hope to limit the Cowboys' explosive offense, they must put pressure on Dak Prescott. When Prescott is forced to make rushed decisions, that can be a problem for him, and the Dolphins' pass rush has been better of late. Making Prescott uncomfortable will go a long way in forcing turnovers, which will be a key element for Miami to take down Dallas in Week 16.
Jalen Ramsey and the Secondary Lock Down CeeDee Lamb
Since returning from injury, Jalen Ramsey has been performing at a high level and has been a key contributor for the Dolphins. Ramsey is coming off locking down Garrett Wilson in Week 15, and he'll be tasked to do the same to CeeDee Lamb in Week 16. You can't afford to let Lamb beat you deep, and you also can't let him continue drives by beating you on third downs in the slot.
Raheem Mostert and Dolphins Backfield Average Over 4.5 Yards Per Carry
With Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane, the Dolphins have boasted the NFL's most explosive backfield in 2023. With the weapons the Dolphins have in their receiver room, teams can't afford to stack the box against them, and this pair of running backs reap the rewards of that. When the Dolphins are able to run the ball, it adds a lot to this offense that makes it even more difficult to stop. If Mostert and Achane can create explosive plays, it could be a long day for Dallas on defense.
