Leg 8: Jalen Johnson 6+ Rebounds
We’ll keep this final leg as simple as possible by expecting Jalen Johnson to get us six rebounds, as he has done in 16 of his last 18 games. Sounds good enough for me!
Leg 1: Kevin Durant 2+ Threes
Kevin Durant has nailed at least two shots from beyond the arc in 13 of his last 16 games, which is good enough for me to take on its face. Still, I’m getting an extra layer of confidence here as the Atlanta Hawks stink defensively against opposing power forwards, allowing the fourth most made threes per game in the league. Instead of rolling the dice on his points, given how inconsistent the Suns’ scoring has been lately, I’m much more comfortable with targeting him from deep.
Legs 2 & 3: Bradley Beal 4+ Rebounds & 4+ Assists
Bradley Beal has had at least four rebounds and four assists in 11 of 16 games in January, so given that the total for this game sits nearly at 250, I’ll trust that there will be enough back-and-forth action to go around here for Beal to get his numbers.
Legs 4 & 5: Trae Young 20+ Points & 10+ Assists
Trae Young has had at least 20 points and ten assists in 17 of his last 22 games. Knowing how high-scoring this game will be, I expect that Young will have the ball in his hands enough to meet his usual 20 and 10 marks.
Legs 6 & 7: Dejounte Murray 20+ Points & 4+ Rebounds
Dejounte Murray has had at least four rebounds in 17 of his last 19 games while putting up at least 20 points in 20 of his previous 24. Not to continue beating the drum, but anytime I can put together a same-game parlay on a game with a projected total of nearly 250, I have very few reservations about rolling the dice on scoring numbers.
