NFL Week 16: 5 Anytime Touchdown Bets to Place for Saturday

Stefon Diggs (+120)
Stefon Diggs has been pretty quiet lately for the Bills, but I’m looking for them to pour it on the Chargers on Saturday night and for him to use this game to get back into his rhythm of dominance. This Chargers secondary cannot stop anyone as they just let Aidan O’Connell throw for four touchdowns after he looked like the worst quarterback in the league just a week prior. Davante Adams managed a 100-yard outing with a touchdown, so at +120, I expect something similar from Diggs.
Tee Higgins (+155)
Ja’Marr Chase will be out on Saturday for the Bengals, leaving it up for Tee Higgins to control the receiving game. In crunch time last week, Jake Browning relied on Higgins when it mattered most. He caught two critical fourth-quarter touchdowns and totaled a team-high eight targets. It’s all up to Higgins to set the tone, and for him, this is his chance to show he’s capable of being a WR1 on his own without Chase alongside him as he’s searching for a lucrative contract extension this offseason. At +155, this is worth some action.
Diontae Johnson (+280)
At +280, Diontae Johnson has found the endzone in three straight games. Looking at other Steelers options, it’s difficult to choose between Jaylen Warren and Najee Harris. George Pickens is catching too much negative spotlight right now to put a wager on him confidently. Johnson is the best play on the board.
Josh Allen (+105)
The offense of the Buffalo Bills is on an absolute tear right now and gets to face the brutal LA Chargers defense on Sunday that just gave up a whopping seven offensive touchdowns to the freaking Raiders last week. Aidan O’Connell then and Josh Allen now, pick your battle. It wouldn’t surprise me if Sofi Stadium is 95% Bills fans on Sunday, and with the crowd behind him, I expect Josh Allen to find his way into the endzone with his legs like he has done 11 times across his last 12 games. At +105, let’s lay two units on this one.
Josh Palmer (+330)
After what I saw last week, I have no expectations for the LA Chargers, but it’s looking like Keenan Allen will not play again, making Josh Palmer the WR1. At +330 to find the endzone, Palmer scored a touchdown last week, and no other wide receiver on the Chargers’ roster stood out to knock Palmer off that throne. Getting +330 for a WR1 to score a touchdown is good enough by my standards.
