Nobody in MLB left the yard more than Kyle Schwarber in July — his 12 homers and 29 RBI both led the league. His .462 ISO was tops in the NL, and his .452 wOBA ranked third. Now sporting a 162 wRC+ and .957 OPS on the year, the Philadelphia Phillies slugger continues to mash at an elite level in his walk year.

Silver Medal Hitter – Willy Adames, Giants

After a rocky start to his San Francisco Giants career, Willy Adames finally found his groove. He posted a 1.096 OPS in July — second only to Kyle Stowers in the NL — while ranking second in wRC+ (206) and wOBA (.461). He nearly matched his April–June home run total (9) in just one month, going deep seven times.

The Giants didn’t turn it into a winning month, but San Francisco will gladly take their $182 million shortstop swinging like this in the second half.

Kyle Stowers didn’t just show up in July — he owned the month. The Miami Marlins’ breakout outfielder, fresh off his first All-Star nod, led the NL in wRC+ (240) and wOBA (.516) while tying for the league lead in fWAR. He slugged .818 for the month, ripped 10 homers, and added five doubles to help fuel Miami’s 15–10 record.

Now sitting sixth in MLB with a 160 wRC+ on the season, Stowers has gone from under-the-radar breakout to one of the most dangerous bats in the game.
