Nuggets vs Clippers Prediction, Props, and Best Bets NBA Game 6

The Denver Nuggets head to California for a Thursday night showdown with the LA Clippers. Denver is one game away from advancing to the second round and proving all the critics who counted them out after firing head coach Michael Malone wrong. On the flip side, the Clippers look to protect their home court and force a Game 7 to keep their season alive.

Nuggets vs Clippers Best Bet: Clippers -6.5
The Clippers enter this matchup as the favorites despite trailing in the series. Fortunately for LA, they have the experience within the roster and the coaching staff to understand the importance of this matchup. With their backs against the wall, I expect the Clippers to put together one of their best performances of the season and force a Game 7 with a cover.

Nuggets vs Clippers Best Total Bet: Over 212.5
These squads have proven throughout the regular season and the playoffs that they have the offensive firepower to put together high-scoring battles. However, only two of the first five games have exceeded the 212.5-point set total. On Thursday, I have confidence that these two squads can fire up an offensive display to surpass the mark. That said, a final score of 121-110 seems realistic.
Nuggets Best Player Bet: Jamal Murray 3+ Threes Made +114
Jamal Murray finally put together the big performance that the Nuggets desperately sought in Game 5, finishing with 43 points and eight threes. The Kentucky product will likely enter this matchup carrying the momentum from his strong shooting night on Tuesday, providing Denver the extra scoring it needs to keep pace with the Clippers. All things considered, I expect Murray to put together another strong shooting performance.
Clippers Best Player Bet: Ivica Zubac to Score 20+ Points +134
Ivica Zubac has arguably been the best player for the Clippers up to this point in the postseason, averaging 20.4 points and 10.2 rebounds. The big man has only exceeded 20+ points twice throughout the series, but coming off a dominant night with 27 points on Tuesday gives me faith he will continue to pose a problem for the Nuggets.
