The Detroit Pistons are set for Game 2 on the road against the New York Knicks on Monday, with one last chance to steal homecourt advantage with a road win. In Game 1, Detroit looked like the better team for arguably 3/4 of Saturday’s matchup, but a horrid fourth quarter wiped it away with the Knicks outscoring them 40-21 in the final period to take a 1-0 lead. Expect both teams to make adjustments ahead of this matchup and put together another physical matchup.
Nonetheless, here’s a look at a same game parlay that could place you on the winning side of this playoff showdown.

Pistons ML +210
- Detroit entered this matchup as the underdog, but they’ve proven all season long that the chip on their shoulder only makes them play better in Year 1 of the J.B. Bickerstaff era.
- The Pistons played well enough to steal a win on the road in Game 1, even leading by eight points at one point in the fourth quarter.
- Detroit understands how important it is in a series to steal a game on the road, so I think they come in dialed in on Monday. The Pistons stack up nicely against the Knicks, and I see a scenario in which this series heads back to the Motor City knotted at 1-1.

OG Anunoby to Score 20+ Points +150
- OG Anunoby arguably may be the biggest X-Factor in this series as he continues to elevate his game for the Knicks at the right time.
- In Game 1, Anunoby finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, FIVE steals, and two blocks.
- Although his defensive numbers stand out, his aggressiveness on offense is what stands out to me. The forward took 18 shots on offense, knocking down 44.4% of his attempts. With Detroit looking to limit the Knicks’ top players, it leaves plenty of opportunities for the team’s supporting cast to step up, and Anunoby understands that.
- Assuming Tom Thibodeau plays his wing extended minutes like he did in Game 1 (44), Anunoby will have plenty of opportunities on offense, and I expect him to capitalize.
Malik Beasley 5+ Threes Made +160
- Malik Beasley is a finalist for the Sixth Man of the Year award because he’s been one of the best players for the Pistons this season, averaging 16.3 points off the bench, while shooting 41.6% from three.
- In Game 1, the sharpshooter proved his value by scoring 20 points, including six threes, and playing starter-type minutes (35).
- Beasley understands that he has to be aggressive for his team to have a chance, so he will continue to pressure the Knicks’ defense to get himself and the offense going.
- Entering this matchup, the Florida State product has knocked down 5+ threes in each of his last three games, dating back to the end of the regular season.
