Warriors vs Rockets Wednesday Same Game Parlay | NBA Best Bets Today

John Canady

Host · Writer

On Wednesday night, the Golden State Warriors are set for Game 2 against the Houston Rockets. Steve Kerr’s squad managed to steal homecourt advantage away from the Rockets with a win in Game 1, and they hope to find the same results in tonight’s matchup. Meanwhile, Ime Udoka and his squad head into this battle hoping to avoid going down 0-2 on the road against two of the best playoff performers in the postseason. That said, expect both squads to put forth their best efforts to come out on top.

Nonetheless, here’s a look at a same-game parlay that could help you come out on the winning side of this Western Conference showdown.

Warriors ML +140

  • The Warriors entered this series as the lower seed, but that does not mean they should be considered the underdog.
  • Golden State arguably has the best coach, the most talent, and more playoff experience than the Rockets, which alone could be too much for Houston to overcome.
  • Ime Udoka and the Rockets like to keep games low-scoring and gritty. On Sunday, they did exactly that and still lost to the Warriors, who beat them at their own game. With Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler III understanding how pivotal a Game 2 win on the road for them is, I like the chance Golden State heads back home up 2-0.

Jimmy Butler III to Score OVER 23.5 Points +102

  • Like every season, Jimmy Butler III coasted throughout the regular season, taking a break from scoring and taking on the challenge of doing the dirty work. However, there’s no doubt that “Playoff Jimmy" will always be a thing, and he continues to prove that.
  • In Sunday’s upset win to steal home court from the Rockets, Butler finished with 25 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Ime Udoka’s focus on limiting Stephen Curry opens up more opportunities for the Warriors’ latest addition to take over on offense.
  • Butler has scored 24+ points in each of his last five games.

Dillon Brooks to Score 15+ Points +175

  • Dillon Brooks is looked at as the villian of the NBA because of his ability to get under opposing player’s skin as well as playing elite defense. However, one part of his game that’s overlooked is what he offers on offense.
  • Brooks is averaging 14 points on the season, shooting 42.9% from field goal range and 39.7% from three. Considering what he offers for the Rockets, the Oregon product often plays extended minutes, which bodes well for increased offensive opportunities.
  • The 3-and-D forward has proven to step up in big games on multiple occasions, which is why it wouldn’t be a surprise if he puts together an impressive shooting night to help Houston keep pace with the Warriors.
