On Tuesday night, the Golden State Warriors are set for a battle with the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1 of this Western Conference Semifinals series. Golden State is coming fresh off a Game 7 win to upset the No. 2-seeded Houston Rockets. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves took care of business in five games to send LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers home. Expect a dogfight in this matchup between two teams with championship aspirations.

Warriors vs Timberwolves Best Bet: Warriors ML +205
The Warriors have already proved that the underdog label on them isn’t justified. Golden State was a regular-season finale away from being much higher in the Western Conference standings than the No. 7 seed, and they continue to show that their new-look roster can compete with the top teams. Heading on the road with two of the best playoff performers in the NBA, it wouldn’t be a shock to see the Dubs enter Minnesota and steal home-court advantage.
Warriors vs Timberwolves Best Total Bet: Over 210.5
Golden State and Minnesota have the offensive firepower to turn this matchup into a shootout. In three of the four regular-season games between these two squads, the final score has exceeded the 210.5-point set total. Assuming this trend stays the same on Tuesday, a final score of 116-109 seems like a realistic outcome in this one.

Warriors Best Player Bet: Jimmy Butler III Over 23.5 Points +124
Jimmy Butler III is known for coasting throughout the regular season. Still, when the playoffs begin, “Playoff Jimmy" makes his annual appearance, proving he’s one of the most dominant players in the league. In the previous series win over the Rockets, the versatile forward finished with 24+ points three times. Assuming he looks to set the tone in this matchup, I can easily see Butler putting together another impressive performance.
Timberwolves Best Player Bet: Anthony Edwards 6+ Assists +106
Anthony Edwards was the driving force behind the T-Wolves’ dominant first-round series win, averaging 26.8 points per game. Although the Georgia product is known for his dynamic scoring ability, his playmaking capability is arguably the most underrated part of his game. Edwards showcased that in round one, averaging 6.2 assists per game. With 6+ assists in four of the five games in round one, I like the chance that the Timberwolves star can do it again on Tuesday, especially if Golden State makes it a point of emphasis to get the ball out of his hands.
