8. Dakorien Moore - Wide Receiver - Texas Longhorns
Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns have developed a well-earned reputation for sending wide receivers to the NFL. They hope to add another potential future NFL player as Duncanville native Dakorien Moore visits Austin this weekend. The top-ranked wide receiver in the 2025 class has already visited Ohio State and LSU and will close with a visit to Oregon. Each of those offenses is wide receiver-friendly and would make sense, but Texas may have the leg up as the home-state school. Moore has track speed plus good length, and he plays bigger than his listed height thanks to good timing and ball skills. He projects as an immediate starter and impact player at the power conference level.
Texas 2024 Win Total: 10.5
1. David Sanders - OT - Tennessee Volunteers
Offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. begins his official visit to Tennessee this weekend. The 6’6” prospect from Charlotte attends Providence Day School and is considered by most recruiting services as the top offensive lineman in the 2025 class. The Clemson Tigers are considered the favorite to land his commitment, but Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State have also secured official visits. Sanders Jr. visits Tennessee this weekend, Alabama on June 18, and Ohio State on June 21. The big tackle was in Athens on June 7. Sanders is a highly athletic tackle with a high ceiling, given his elite measurables. Once he adds more weight to his frame, he’s likely a day-one starter.
Tennessee 2024 Win Total: 9.5
2. Kaliq Lockett - WR - Florida State Seminoles
Wide receiver Kaliq Lockett highlights six other top-end prospects to visit Tallahassee this weekend. Lockett is a 6’2” wide receiver with a wingspan of 6’7”. His long arms extend to his large hands, and he has impressive track speed. The 12th-ranked prospect nationally (247Sports) averaged 118 yards per game as a junior at Sachse High School in Texas, and his visit to Florida State is in addition to trips to LSU, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Texas. The Longhorns are considered a favorite, and he’ll be in Austin on June 21.
3. Jonah Williams - Safety - LSU Tigers
Top safety/linebacker Jonah Williams is visiting the LSU Tigers this weekend. The 6’3” prospect is considered a lean to Texas A&M and is a two-sport star, excelling in baseball and football. Williams is a freak athlete who projects as the kind of modern-day defensive chess piece that coaches love. Recruiting analysts compare him to Isaiah Simmons and he profiles as an instant impact player in college. While Texas A&M thinks they will land the Galveston native, he is visiting LSU this weekend and Oregon on June 21.
LSU 2024 Win Total: 9.5
4. Julian Lewis - QB - Auburn Tigers
The Auburn Tigers desperately need a long-term answer at quarterback, and one of the best players at the position in the 2025 class is visiting Hugh Freeze this weekend. Julian “JuJu” Lewis is currently committed to USC, but the talented prospect continues to go through visits, and his recruitment seems quite open. The Georgia native is a bit on the smaller side at 6’1” and just 185 pounds, but he has an elite arm and is in total command of whatever offense he is directing. Lewis is very close with IU quarterbacks coach Tino Sunseri and visited the Hoosiers on May 31. He followed that up with an official visit to Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans and spoke glowingly about the experience. Lewis now visits Auburn before heading to the Colorado Buffaloes on June 21.
Auburn 2024 Win Total: 7.5
5. Ty Haywood - Offensive Line - Oklahoma Sooners
David Sanders Jr. is the top-ranked offensive lineman, but Ty Haywood is behind him, ranking 11th nationally. The 6’5” Texas native has a plus wingspan that helps him play at a much bigger height than he’s listed. Haywood is athletic; analysts list his active and quick hands and feet as one of his most significant assets. He is a high-level mover who is still relatively raw as an offensive lineman prospect, but the tools and frame are there to turn him into a future starter and NFL Draft prospect. Haywood has already visited TCU and Alabama and will visit Florida State after his time in Norman.
Oklahoma 2024 Win Total: 7.5
6. Na'Eem Offord - Cornerback - Oregon Ducks
The Ohio State Buckeyes continue to churn out high-quality cornerbacks and have landed the commitment of sixth-ranked defensive back Na’eem Offord. Offord is 6’1” and still has his visit to Columbus on June 21, so OSU is still the heavy favorite to land him. However, Offord is still taking visits and will head to Eugene this weekend to see what Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks have to offer. Offord is a fluid athlete with a broad jump that exceeds 11 feet plus good arm length. The Alabama native has previously considered Alabama, Georgia, and Auburn in addition to Oregon and Ohio State.
Oregon 2024 Win Total: 10.5
7. DJ Pickett - Cornerback - Miami Hurricanes
Despite middling results on the field, head coach Mario Cristobal continues to have the Miami Hurricanes recruiting exceptionally well. That is set to continue in the 2025 class, and they have top-ten defensive back DJ Pickett visiting Coral Gables this weekend. Pickett is 6’4” and has exceptional size and length. He’s not the most physically developed player yet, and it’s unclear if he will be a free safety or corner in college. The best bet would be to slot him as an outside corner that could use his length to shut down one side of the field. Pickett is a multisport athlete who also excels at basketball and baseball and projects as an early starter on defense. The Tampa native has already visited Georgia and LSU and will close with a visit to Oregon. He is announcing his commitment on October 5.
Miami 2024 Win Total: 9.5
