5. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have turned into a school that looks pretty content with grabbing short-term options in the portal at quarterback. Two years ago, it was Sam Hartman from Wake Forest. The Irish have benefitted from Riley Leonard going to Notre Dame from Duke. The school is getting excellent high school recruiting at positions like tight end, running back, and offensive line and then supplementing with a transfer quarterback. After losing a prized quarterback recruit late in the cycle, that appears to be the most likely path again for Marcus Freeman and Miller Moss, which would be a decent option for Notre Dame.

1. Louisville Cardinals
The Louisville Cardinals had a moderately successful year two under head coach Jeff Brohm, with transfer Tyler Shough leading the attack. Shough has no eligibility remaining, so the Cardinals will be back in the market for a quarterback to lead the attack. Miller Moss does not have the biggest arm, but he would be a pretty good fit for the timing-based offense that Brohm employs. Louisville’s offense will be good as long as Brohm is there, but they’ll need a quarterback, and Moss would fit the bill.
2. Missouri Tigers
Eli Drinkwitz has turned Missouri into a perennial ten-win contender. Brady Cook has exhausted his eligibility, and the Tigers need a new leader for the offense. Drinkwitz knows how to bring in a lot of talent around the quarterback, but he’ll need a new signal-caller to get the ball to their talented wide receivers. Missouri has a big NIL budget and will invest what is required to attract someone like Miller Moss. Does Moss want to leave the West Coast? If so, Missouri offers quite a bit for a transfer quarterback.
3. Michigan Wolverines
Much has been made about Bryce Underwood's commitment to the Michigan Wolverines. The five-star quarterback flipped from LSU to the Maize and Blue and immediately injected a big dose of optimism into the program’s future on offense. Of course, it is important to remember that Underwood will still be a freshman in 2025, and bringing in a veteran quarterback to act as a bridge to Underwood could make a lot of sense for Michigan. The Wolverines appear to be due for a considerable investment from wealthy donors, and Miller Moss could benefit from a fresh start.
4. Florida State Seminoles
2024 was a complete disaster for the Florida State Seminoles. Basically, nothing went right for Mike Norvell’s crew as they tanked to a historically bad season. Much will be changing, including the offense FSU will be running. While Miller Moss doesn’t really appear to fit what new offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn wants to do on offense, he would be a veteran quarterback who would add some stability to a position with absolutely none of that in Tallahassee.
