The Vikings deserve to take a bow for what they’ve done this season, sitting with a 14-3 record, but thanks to the Lions’ success, they now face an uphill battle this postseason. As talented as the Vikings have been, they have a brutal path this postseason that will start on the road against a battle-tested Rams team. If they were to get by them, they would have to return to Detroit to face the Lions in a potential divisional-round matchup. Their path is brutal, and they’ll need to rebound after such an emotionally deflating loss on Sunday night to keep their season going. If we were to fade any good team, it would be the Vikings due to their circumstances and path.
