Offensive Line Shares Blame
As poorly as Prescott performed on Sunday, his offensive line provided little help. The veteran faced constant pressure, making it difficult for the Cowboys to sustain drives or establish any flow on offense. Prescott will take much of the heat, but the lack of protection up front has become a serious concern, contributing to the team's overall struggles.

Introduction
Week 6 saw the Dallas Cowboys (3-3) suffer their worst home loss ever at AT&T Stadium, a 47-9 drubbing at the hands of the Detroit Lions.
Here's what else we learned about America's Team:
Defense is Woeful
Granted, Dallas was missing key players in Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence, but there is no excuse for surrendering 47 points, especially at home. Detroit scored on its first nine possessions, toying with the Cowboys all afternoon.

Questionable Offensive Playcalling
The Lions entered the contest boasting one of the league's premiere run defenses but had been vulnerable against the pass. Unfortunately, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy didn't get the memo, frequently calling first-down runs that went nowhere, leading to several second-and-long situations. When Dallas did decide to throw on first down, it found success, making McCarthy's run-heavy approach even more puzzling.

Turnovers and Sloppy Play
The Cowboys turned the ball over a whopping five times, including two poor interceptions from quarterback Dak Prescott. During the bye week, a greater emphasis on ball security must be preached.
First Half Home Woes Continue
Again, the game was essentially decided by halftime. The Cowboys trailed 27-6 after the first 30 minutes, continuing a troubling pattern of falling behind early. In their last four home games, Dallas has been outscored 110-35 in the first half, consistently putting themselves in deep holes that are nearly impossible to overcome.
