Bills-Jets MNF: 6 Favorite Anytime Touchdown Best Bets

Week 6 of the NFL season finishes off tonight as the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets will square off in Metlife for an AFC East tilt where the Bills are looking to bounce back after back-to-back losses, and the Jets will turn the page from the Robert Saleh era. Tonight should be a great showdown with both teams playing desperate football, so here are the top touchdown props for you to target.

Check out SportsGrid’s NFL game picks and NFL Props Picks all Season Long.

How to Approach Breece Hall (+100)

Breece Hall has the most touchdown potential on the field tonight, but how much trust should we have in him with how putrid the Jets’ offense has looked? As elite of a player as Hall is, he’s combined for 27 rushing yards off of 19 carries the past two weeks and hasn’t been able to get much going as a pass catcher. Maybe it’s false hope, but I expect to see a better version of the Jets’ offense back at home and with a jolt of desperation after Saleh’s firing. I don’t have any issue trusting that Hall can have himself a night. He has all the talent in the world, and at +100, you won’t find a better price the rest of the year on him to find the endzone if he performs well. I’ll be sprinkling in some action on Hall tonight, but it certainly requires a lot of trust in these Jets to have figured it out.

James Cook (+120)

I’ve been fading James Cook for weeks, and maybe I’m just wrong. This dude is incredible and has proven to be a touchdown machine for the Bills’ offense. He’s found the endzone for the Bills this season, but we certainly don’t like his matchup tonight against a respectable Jets’ run defense. After Jordan Mason dominated them in Week 1, the Jets have done well limiting running backs. I won’t tout an opinion on him. I’ve been wrong on him all season, so I won’t try to be right tonight. However, +120 is a juicy price, given what he’s done.

Garrett Wilson (+180)

I trust Aaron Rodgers to take charge of this offense tonight at home after a lackluster few weeks, so I need as much action on Garrett Wilson to score a touchdown at +180 as possible. This guy had 13 catches, 101 yards, and a touchdown last week, but most glaringly, he saw 23 targets. 23! Getting anyone at +180 to score a touchdown after he had 23 targets the week prior is stupidly good value, so I’m all over it.

Is it Finally Josh Allen’s Time (+155)?

The main reason we’ve been wrong with our James Cook reads all season is that we’ve had a ton of trust in Josh Allen to score a touchdown with his legs, but he hasn’t done so since he did it twice in Week 1. Is this the week? I’ve given up on trying because it’s been a weekly donation to the sportsbooks for me, meaning he’s likely to score the first touchdown of the night. Still, taking away my emotional investment, he’s failed to record a red-zone carry in the past two weeks. All good things come to an end, so after he made us a lot of money in 2023, it’s time we end our Allen touchdown bets.

Allen Lazard (+320)

Allen Lazard is Rodgers’s guy, and he’s already recorded four touchdowns this season. Getting anyone who has caught four touchdowns across five weeks at +320 to score a touchdown is excellent value. We’re all over it as if the ball is in the air in the red zone; it’s a near guarantee that it’s going to either Wilson or Lazard. He’s been a money-maker all season, so take the +320 value and run with it.

Khalil Shakir (+270)

The Bills have yet to establish a WR1, so we’ll continue to give Khalil Shakir that respect until someone else takes the WR1 role. He’s questionable to play tonight, but many expect him to be out there, and he leads all Bills’ wide receivers in receptions and targets despite missing Week 5. His absence was felt last week as the Bills couldn’t competently move the ball through the air, so we’ll expect Allen to pepper him heavily if he’s on the field. At +270, trust the WR1 to find the endzone.
