MNF Doubleheader: 6 Favorite Anytime Touchdown Best Bets

We have a Monday Night Football doubleheader to look forward to tonight, so we put together our best touchdown props across both games to cash in on the high-scoring action.

How to Approach Derrick Henry (-185)

Derrick Henry has been the most potent touchdown scorer this season, as across six games, he’s combined for nine touchdowns, finding the endzone in each game. Priced at -185 to do so tonight, we certainly don’t want to back that number straight up. Instead, we can keep it simple and parlay him to find the endzone and rush for at least 80 yards, as he’s also done in each of the last five games, for a +115 parlay.

Mike Evans (+145) or Chris Godwin (+160)?

Mike Evans and Chris Godwin continue to be one of the best wide receiver tandems in football, but which one do we tout to get in the endzone tonight? Given all the scoring I expect in tonight’s game, I believe there is value to be had in both guys, but I have to go with Evans here. While Godwin has been the more reliable receiver in volume lately, Evans is the guy we’ve counted on for so long. He has five touchdowns on the season and is due for a big night after he combined for just five catches across the past two weeks. The Bucs’ coaching staff won’t let him be non-existent for a third straight game. I anticipate they’ll do what they can to get him involved in the offense immediately. At +145, we also can’t ignore the rare price we’re getting on Evans to find the endzone in a high-scoring game.

Fade: Zay Flowers (+155)

Zay Flowers has been a machine this season, but I can’t buy into him as a touchdown scorer. A lot needs to go right for him to find the endzone, so I’m unwilling to lay the risk. Across the past weeks, he’s been fantastic, combining for 16 receptions off of 22 targets, but he didn’t see a single target in the red zone. Not one! In the red zone, it will likely be Henry’s touchdown to lose, so I’m not willing to back Flowers here at +155, given the board. Evans and Godwin are better options at similar prices.

Is JK Dobbins (-130) Worth the Juice?

JK Dobbins appears to be the Chargers’ top touchdown threat, but is he worth laying the juice at -130 tonight? I have little faith in the Cardinals’ ability to stop anyone on the ground. Last week, they allowed 178 yards to the Packers, 154 to the 49ers in the week prior, and 216 yards to the Commanders three weeks ago. The Chargers want to win football games on the ground and through Dobbins, so I’d be surprised if he doesn’t see 20 touches tonight. Dobbins ran 25 times for 94 yards and a touchdown in a similar format, so I could see a similar showing tonight. I’m willing to lay the juice at -130, but if not, parlaying him to rush for at least 60 yards for a +115 parlay is also worthwhile.

Marvin Harrison Jr. (+160)

Marvin Harrison Jr. has been cleared from concussion protocol to play tonight, so we’re all over him to find the endzone. He’s caught four touchdowns thus far this season, and I trust Kyler Murray’s ability to get him the ball. Indeed, more than I probably should. He’s had a weird past two games, giving us the sweet +160 price, but if the Cardinals want to win this game, they will benefit significantly from attacking this feisty Chargers’ defense on the outside through the air. MHJ should be in for a big day, so we’re all over him at +160 tonight.

Ladd McConkey (+210)

It still feels weird that the Chargers would rather win games on the ground than with Justin Herbert’s arm, but it just so happens that the Cardinals’ pass defense is just as bad as their run defense. Ladd McConkey has all the potential in the world tonight as the Chargers’ leader in both receptions, targets, and receiving yards, so at +210, it feels right to get a sprinkle of this bet into our card tonight. He has two receiving touchdowns this year and will undoubtedly be Herbert’s top red zone target if he’s allowed to air it close to the endzone.
