34. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
Let's get one thing straight. It was a terrible rookie season for Bryce Young with the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers didn't put Young in a position to succeed, and he ultimately didn't. With the Panthers bringing in a young offensive-minded head coach in Dave Canales, there's a lot to like about Young finding his groove in Year 2. What we thought might happen didn't transpire through Week 2, and Young has already been benched.

1. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
With his career list of accolades, it's extremely difficult and near impossible to rank Patrick Mahomes anywhere but at the top of the list. Mahomes has already won a pair of MVP's, along with three Super Bowls, and three Super Bowl MVP's. Talk about greatness. Can Mahomes challenge Tom Brady for GOAT status when it's all said and done?
2. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
After winning his second MVP in 2023, Lamar Jackson is right in the mix for the top quarterback in the NFL. Jackson has all the tools you want in a modern day starting quarterback. The only thing missing from his Hall of Fame resume is a Super Bowl.
3. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Despite having yet to win the big one, Josh Allen remains one of the NFL's best quarterbacks. He'll be tested more in 2024 with a different wide receiver core, but we expect the Buffalo Bills quarterback to pass the test with flying colors.
4. C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
C.J. Stroud came onto the scene in a major way as a rookie quarterback in 2023 for the Houston Texans. If you watched him play at Ohio State, this really shouldn't have come as a surprise. Stroud has an elite ceiling to be one of the NFL's top quarterbacks.
5. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
It wasn't a strong season for Jalen Hurts in 2023 with what we've started to expect from the Philadelphia Eagles QB1. With Kellen Moore brought in as offensive coordinator, don't be surprised if we see Hurts have a big bounce back campaign.

6. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Even after a campaign he'd rather forget with injuries, Joe Burrow remains highly thought of as a superstar quarterback in the NFL. Burrow has the talent and competitive drive to once again be an elite quarterback in the NFL in 2024.
7. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
Although this ranking might be slightly too high at the moment, we'd rather be ahead of the curve than behind it. Jordan Love popped in a monstrous way in the second-half of the 2023 campaign. Big things are expected from the Green Bay Packers QB1 in 2024.
8. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
Brock Purdy is undoubtedly a polarizing quarterback. Many believe he's a system quarterback because of the elite weapons around him, but you simply can't fake his 17-4 regular season record as starting quarterback.
9. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams offense popped in a major way in 2023. With Sean McVay's creativity, Stafford's strong processing ability and arm, look for another big season from the Rams signal-caller.
10. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
There will almost certainly be some qualms with where we've ranked Dak Prescott. Some will say he's too low, others will mention he's most definitely not a top 10 quarterback. At the end of the day, the numbers don't lie, even if he's underwhelmed in the postseason.
11. Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets
Even with his questionable off the field antics, you have to still respect the Hall of Fame career that Aaron Rodgers has had. Coming off a major injury, will Rodgers be able to return as a top signal-caller in the NFL? Your guess is as good as mine.
12. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
There's a lot to like about the overall efficiency that Jared Goff continued to show in leading the Detroit Lions to the NFC Championship Game last season. Goff deserves more respect, and we're going to give it to him by putting him just outside the top 10.
13. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
Justin Herbert has the exact type of skillset that NFL teams covet for their starting quarterback. Still, Herbert has yet to fully put it together at the NFL level for a full season. Will that change this year under head coach Jim Harbaugh? You can only bet on the talent for so long.
14. Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings
Wouldn't it be something if Sam Darnold had a career resurgence with the Minnesota Vikings? The talent has never been a question with Darnold, it's more been his ability to process the game at NFL speed. Will Kevin O'Connell be able to work his magic here?
15. Kirk Cousins, Atlanta Falcons
Kirk Cousins is the definition of a middling quarterback, and that's completely acceptable. His production can often be seen in the right offense, but there are a few issues with reading a defense that limit his overall upside. Although he might never lead you to a Super Bowl, he's still a solid quarterback in his own right.
16. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
Kyler Murray remains a strong dual-threat as a signal-caller in the modern day NFL. Although injuries have put a damper on his upside of late, Murray looks healthy headed into 2024, and there's reason to be optimistic about his production as a result.
17. Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks
It's easy to get excited about the tools that Geno Smith has to work with. He throws one of the most accurate deep balls in the NFL, and might still have some untapped potential in his game. It will be interesting to follow how he operates under a new coaching staff.
18. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It's quietly been a nice turnaround for Baker Mayfield with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He signed a big extension this offseason, and has been a competent starter in this system. Even if he doesn't live up to his draft status, Mayfield has carved out a nice career for himself.
19. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
The numbers were strong last season for Tua Tagovailoa with the Miami Dolphins. Still, Tagovailoa has to cut down on forcing throws and making big mistakes at bad times. If Tua can stay healthy in 2024, we're looking for him to take another step forward.
20. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
Yes, Caleb Williams has yet to take an NFL regular season snap. Still, the 2024 NFL Draft first overall pick has all the talent to be a middling quarterback in his rookie season. Surrounding by elite wideouts, Williams is set up for success in 2024 if his offensive line can hold up.

21. Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints
Derek Carr has found a way to continue being a starting quarterback in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints. He'll need to have a strong start to the season to keep his job, knowing there's a youngster behind him in Spencer Rattler that's coming off a big camp.
22. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
The upside for Jayden Daniels is real with the Washington Commanders. Daniels will be challenged with the offensive line and targets he'll be working with on offense, but his athleticism should help him work out of trouble. There will be growing pains, but we'll look past that in Year 1.
23. Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns
Deshaun Watson is going to drive some polarizing comments on this list, one way or another. The talent is evidently there, but injuries and his suspension have really halted his overall ceiling as a quarterback. Will Watson continue to carry the injury prone label in 2024, or will he bounce back and lead the Browns offense to success?
24. Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts
Anthony Richardson showed us the arm strength, athleticism, and mobility that's needed to succeed as an NFL quarterback in a limited sample size last year. Knowing what we saw in a vacuum last year, Richardson will need to show he's made progress, even if he took very little snaps in his rookie year.
25. Justin Fields, Pittsburgh Steelers
Although Justin Field wasn't supposed to be the starter to begin the season in Pittsburgh, he's taken the job early and run with it. Fields is doing a solid job leading an Arthur Smith coached offense, even if they only have one touchdown through two games.
26. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
We're still waiting on Trevor Lawrence to fully breakout and live up to his draft status as a first overall pick. Many expected Lawrence to be the next great NFL quarterback, and that just hasn't transpired yet. Another mediocre season from Lawrence and there's a chance this is just what he is for his career.
27. Will Levis, Tennessee Titans
Will Levis had a full offseason to prepare as the starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans in 2024. It will be interesting to see what adjustments he's made, especially factoring in new head coach Brian Callahan. With the players surrounding Levis on offense in Tennessee, there's reason to believe he could have some nice numbers when it's all said and done.
28. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
It's not exactly a crowded quarterback room with talent, but Bo Nix won the Denver Broncos QB1 battle with his play doing the talking. Nix has some potential upside with Sean Payton leading the charge in Denver. Let's see what he's able to accomplish during his rookie campaign.
29. Gardner Minshew II, Las Vegas Raiders
There are qualities to like about Gardner Minshew's game, but he's more suited as an elite backup quarterback than he is a starter. Still, there's enough to his game that the Las Vegas Raiders have him as their starting signal-caller. Let's see what he can do with the opportunity.
30. Andy Dalton, Carolina Panthers
We didn't expect Andy Dalton to be the starting quarterback for the Carolina Panthers heading into Week 3. At this stage in his career, we know what Dalton has to offer in the NFL.
31. Jacoby Brissett, New England Patriots
There might not be a lot to get excited about with Jacoby Brissett, but he's a solid transition quarterback, and that's exactly what the New England Patriots are looking for right now.
32. Daniel Jones, New York Giants
We just haven't seen anything close to what we want from Daniel Jones to rank him anywhere else. People will fall for his athletic upside, but the football IQ isn't there with this player.
33. Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers
It will be interesting to see what Russell Wilson still has to offer the Pittsburgh Steelers at this stage of his career. Can he be the game manager that Arthur Smith's looking for on offense? Will his deteriorating mobility be his downfall? There are many questions to answer around Wilson entering 2024. Will Wilson be able to earn the starters job back when healthy?
