We’re kicking off the weekend on Friday night with the Rising Stars challenge, followed by All-Star Saturday night featuring the Skills Competition, 3-Point Contest, Slam Dunk Contest, and a 3-Point Shooutout between Stephen Curry and Sabrina Ionescu. The weekend wraps up on Sunday as LeBron James leads the Western Conference and Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the East. It’s going to be a fun one, so let’s dive in.

NBA Rising Stars Challenge: Friday @ 9 p.m. ET
- Team Pau (+120)
- Team Tamika (+240)
- Team Jalen (+310)
- Team Detlef (+850)
The Rising Stars Challenge will include some of the league’s best young and upcoming stars in a four-team bracket format. Team Pau is the favorite led by Victor Wembanyama and Brandon Miller, and they’ll face Team Detlef in the semifinal round, including the NBA G-League’s best talent. Team Tamika and Team Jalen will also square off as Team Tamika features Paolo Banchero, Jalen Duren, and Keegan Murray, while Team Jalen boasts Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams.

NBA Skills Challenge
- Team Top Picks (+140)
- Team All-Stars (+180)
- Team Pacers (+190)
The Skills Challenge will again feature the relay-race format as each participant will do various drills to contribute to their team’s success. Team Top Picks will showcase Victor Wembanyama, Paolo Banchero, and Anthony Edwards, as they have been the first overall pick in the last three drafts. Team All-Stars will feature Tyrese Maxey, Scottie Barnes, and Trae Young, while Team Pacers will represent the host city of Indianapolis, including Tyrese Haliburton, Myles Turner, and Bennedict Mathurin.
Steph vs. Sabrina: Three-Point Shootout
- Steph Curry (-230)
- Sabrina Ionescu (+176)
Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu of the WNBA will compete in a long-awaited three-point competition on Saturday. Curry is not an overwhelming favorite by any means, just at -230. Ionescu had the option to shoot from either the WNBA or NBA three-point line, and she elected to shoot from the NBA line, saying she shoots from that range anyway. After a 37-point three-point contest performance in the WNBA’s All-Star Weekend last season, Ionescu is excited to go up against the greatest three-point shooter in the history of the NBA.
Three-Point Shootout: Steph vs. Sabrina Preview & Odds
NBA 3-Point Contest
- Damian Lillard (+390)
- Tyrese Haliburton (+450)
- Trae Young (+550)
- Malik Beasley (+650)
- Karl-Anthony Towns (+700)
- Donovan Mitchell (+750)
- Jalen Brunson (+750)
- Lauri Markkanen (+800)
Damian Lillard enters the 3-Point Contest as the favorite and reigning champion at +390, followed by the hometown favorite Tyrese Haliburton, who very well could be tired out and not focused after competing in the Skills Challenge previously. Trae Young cannot be discounted in any long-range shooting competition. At the same time, Karl-Anthony Towns is an exciting name to keep an eye on after he won the competition in 2022 but opted against participating in 2023. Malik Beasley is the least popular name on the board, but he is shooting 44.4% from deep this season for the Bucks on 6.5 attempts per game.

NBA Slam Dunk Contest
- Mac McClung (-225)
- Jacob Toppin (+500)
- Jaylen Brown (+525)
- Jaime Jaquez Jr. (+800)
Mac McClung is the reigning NBA Slam Dunk champion as he’s an overwhelming favorite to repeat as the winner at -225. Jacob Toppin, younger brother of Obi Toppin, is a relative unknown. Still, with similar athleticism to his brother in a 6’7” frame, Toppin can fly. Boston’s Jaylen Brown is easily the most notable player to participate in the contest as he is hoping his presence will motivate other star players around the league to “revitalize” the contest in years to come. Rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. is the long shot in the contest, but he boasts sneaky athleticism that makes him live entirely to take home the award.

NBA All-Star Game: Sunday @ 8 p.m. ET
LeBron James will lead the West All-Stars against Giannis Antetokounmpo in the East as the NBA has reverted to the East-West format rather than the player draft used in recent years. Either Team LeBron or the Western Conference has won the All-Star game in eight of his last nine years.
