Timberwolves vs Warriors Prediction, Props, and Best Bets NBA Game 4

The Minnesota Timberwolves are set for a Monday night matchup against the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of this Western Conference Semifinals series. Minnesota managed to steal a game on Saturday after outscoring the Warriors 33-24 in the fourth quarter after trailing the entire game before that late push. Although the momentum seems to be in their favor with Stephen Curry expected to remain sidelined, Golden State will be playing with a new sense of urgency to prevent going down 3-1.

Timberwolves vs Warriors Best Bet: Warriors ML +180
Golden State enters this matchup as the underdog despite being at home. Following back-to-back wins by the Timberwolves, bettors seem to think that the absence of Curry may be too much for the Warriors to overcome in this series. However, the Dubs winning three of four quarters on Saturday gives me the confidence they can find a way to even this series at 2-2. They also weathered the storm without the star guard in Game 1 after he was sidelined following only 13 minutes of play.
Timberwolves vs Warriors Best Total Bet: Over 200.5
This series has finished with under 200.5 points scored in two of the first three games. These totals are a bit of an outlier between two teams who have the offensive firepower to score more than half of this set total on their own any given night. Assuming these squads find a way to get their offenses going on Monday night, I like the odds that this game exceeds the 200.5-point set total, even if it’s not a high-scoring shootout. A final score of 108-103 seems realistic in this matchup.

Timberwolves Best Player Bet: Julius Randle OVER 6.5 Assists +118
Julius Randle had a bit of a down year in all areas of his game, averaging 18.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. However, throughout this series, the Kentucky product has seemingly turned back the clock and shown why the Timberwolves were so confident in moving to land him during the offseason. Throughout the first three games against the Warriors, Randle is averaging 22 points, 9.7 assists, and 6.7 rebounds. With 11+ assists in each of the last two games, I expect Chris Finch to continue running the offense through his big man, which bodes well for him to finish with 7+ assists.
Warriors Best Player Bet: Jimmy Butler 2+ Threes Made +164
Jimmy Butler III isn’t exactly viewed as a sharpshooter from beyond the arc by any means, shooting 27.9% from three in the regular season. Despite that, the Warriors star hasn’t let that waver his confidence shooting from deep throughout the last handful of games. Butler has knocked down 2+ threes in each of the three games in this series, which extends the streak of draining at least two threes in each game to four. With Golden State needing Butler to remain aggressive on offense without Curry, I like the odds he can continue his streak from beyond the arc in Game 4 on Monday.
