The Buffalo Bills continued their regular-season success against the Chiefs with a 28-21 victory at home in Buffalo. The question remains the same for Buffalo as it has for the past four seasons. Can they finally get over the hump of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs come playoff time? Only time will tell, but the Bills look like the top team in the NFL after Week 9.

#2 Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles were able to enjoy their bye week after a 38-20 victory over the Giants in Week 8 and hold a comfortable lead in the NFC East. They also made two trades on the defensive side, adding Jaire Alexander from the Ravens and Jaelan Phillips from the Dolphins to provide more depth in the pass rush and secondary. Howie Roseman has once again set this team up for a deep run down the stretch.
#3 Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams have now won their past three contest by a combined score of 86-20 over the Ravens, Jaguars, and Saints. Just pure domination in all three phases. Sean McVay's squad looks as poised as any to challenge the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC.
#4 Denver Broncos
First place in the AFC West heading into Week 10 is not held by the Kansas City Chiefs. It is not held by the LA Chargers after their 3-0 start. The Denver Broncos, riding a six-game winning streak, currently hold sole possession of first place, after a second game-winning field goal in the last three games. With two divisional games in a row upcoming, the Broncos have an opportunity to take firm command.
#5 New England Patriots
Say what you want about the easy schedule, but the Patriots are doing what any true contender should do against lesser competition. The Mike Vrabel/Drake Maye pairing continues to blossom even more each week, and the Patriots continue to look even more dominant. It's looking like it will come down to the wire between them and Buffalo in the AFC East.
#6 Detroit Lions
They say divisional matchups can be very weird. Nobody expected J.J. McCarthy to go on the road in Detroit and earn a 27-24 victory, but that is precisely what happened. Detroit made it interesting in the fourth quarter but ultimately fell short. They look to get back on track against the Commanders in a rematch of last year's NFC Divisional Round.
#7 Indianapolis Colts
The Colts' offense was due for a letdown at some point. Pittsburgh is never an easy place to play for opposing offenses, and Sunday was no different. Despite the loss, Indianapolis still sits at 7-2 atop the AFC South and No. 7 in the power rankings. Their schedule does not get any easier down the stretch. How will they respond?
#8 Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks dominated the Commanders on Sunday night, thanks to four touchdown passes from Sam Darnold and a defense that smothered Jayden Daniels and the Washington offense all night long. Seattle is tied atop the NFC West with the Los Angeles Rams. If Darnold keeps playing like this, the two teams will be neck and neck until the end.
#9 Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers had their best defensive performance of the season this past Sunday by defeating the No. 1 seed Indianapolis Colts and forcing Daniel Jones into four turnovers in the process. The offense has been far from the issue this season, but if the defense can find itself down the stretch, the Steelers may not give up first place in the AFC North that easily.
