No, the Michigan Wolverines don’t play today or in Week 12 of the college football season.

The Wolverines are coming off an impressive three-year run, which included winning three Big Ten Titles and the College Football National Championship. Head coach Jim Harbaugh, quarterback J.J. McCarthy, and numerous other vital contributors were off to the NFL. The cupboard isn’t bare in Ann Arbor as the Wolverines have five potential first-round picks (per PFF’s Mock Draft) in CB Will Johnson, TE Colston Loveland, EDGE Josaiah Stewart, and DTs Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant.

To call this season a disappointment would be an understatement. Under first-year headman Sherrone Moore, the Maize and Blue are 5-5 and still haven’t clinched a bowl game with just two to play, including a trip to Columbus on Thanksgiving Weekend. The offense has been among the worst in college football. Moore started three different quarterbacks this season before settling on Davis Warren, who won the starting job out of training camp.

Many fans’ attention is on the future, and Michigan has made a big NIL push for 5-star in-state quarterback Bryce Underwood.
